GOD’S GLORY:

God’s glory is far beyond the comforts and good things of this present material world. God’s
glory is more than the beauty and splendor of this present material world. If you take a closer
look at scripture intently, you will discover that God’s glory is far more than the treasures and
luxuries of this life. Yet these things are the first to come to the mind of many modern Christians
whenever they think or remember God’s glory. But material mammon and comforts of this
present sinful world are nothing when compared with heavenly glory. [Matthew 6:21]

God’s glory is inexplicable; beyond human comprehension and it has nothing to do with this
corrupt world and system. Though the glory of God commands attention both in the heavens and
on earth and it produces riches on earth. Earthly values are inferior when compare with heavenly
treasures. The scripture says, this present system and glory is reserved unto fire against judgment
day and perdition of ungodly men [2 peter3: 7].

1Timothy 6:7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry
nothing out.

WHAT EXACTLY IS GOD’S GLORY?

The glory of God is about the beauty of His holiness. This comprises His goodness, mercy,
wisdom, longsuffering, honesty, riches, splendor, and power etc. God’s glory is far beyond the
comforts and good things of this natural life. Man was made to manifest this glory on earth. The
scripture says God created man in His own image and after His own likeness.

Matthew 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

The Christian is the symbol of God’s glory on earth. The Christian carries God’s glory in the
inward thereby manifesting it outwardly on daily basis. The glory of God is what actually makes
a convert real Christian. The absence of God’s glory in the life of a man will amount to stony
heart, unforgiving spirit, selfishness, greediness, pride, fear and everlasting shame at last. The
glory of God in the life of a man is about divine inheritance; which strongly involves grace and
mercy from God. The Christian manifests this glory as compassion, longsuffering, meekness,
righteousness, and power through Christ. The glory of God radiates outwardly, but it begins with
the inward. It begins with the heart through the spirit of the fear of the Lord and surfaces
outwardly as exceptional wisdom, power, good understanding, sound health, sound mind, riches
and every other blessing which the Christian inherits from Christ.

JOB 1: 1 Job was a perfect and an upright man, one that fear God and eschewed evil.

The first thing the scripture mentioned about Job was his uprightness and his fear of God before
the number of children and wealth. The number of his children did not come first neither did his
wealth came first but, his fear of God and uprightness came first. This simply means the fear of
God and uprightness is what actually makes a convert real Christian not his possessions.
