Are valve glands and gaskets free from evidence of leaks and are stems

Whether the TRV Expansion line valve is properly secured and

Whether fire fighting lines (sprinkler and foam system) are properly

supported
3.7 Whether earth strips are properly tightened to the tank shell
4 Roof
Any crack, pitting, corrosion and failure in painting on roof plates and

welding joints
Any leakage of air or product vapour through nozzles flange joint or roof

plate welded joints
5 Roof appurtenances
Whether dip hatch/ temp.hatch/ other nozzles are properly functioning and

closed. Condition of hatch seals
5.2 Is PV valve/goose neck is functioning properly. Condition of mesh
5.3 Electrical ligting and JB's
5.4 Whether the Radar and its fitting are properly secured
Whether IFR seal in good condition without any cracks. This can be

checked by opening roof dome covers provided on tank roof
5.6 Any corrosion / damage of roof hand rails of the tank
6 General
6.1 Are the dyke outlet valves in operation and normally closed
6.2 Any unwanted materials around the tank
Whether aluminium clamp is fixed to all joints of expansion line and

pipelines from tank to loading arm
6.4 Whether Silica gel breather is functioning properly. Condition of silica gel
Insulated tank - Is the cladding in good condition and is there any

evidence of insulation degradation
Are the shell and roof nozzles full bolted ( All the bolts holes are with

bolts)
6.7 Are the electrical equipment connected to the tank properly secured
