One should live his life on the strength of the
spiritual master. All authorities agree to this princi-
ple. It is the duty of the disciple to hear instructions
from the guru and act on them after due contem-
plation. In all cases, one should always consider
himself the servant of the spiritual master. This is
certainly the perfection of religiosity. ·
