Nephthys 287

The origin of the goddess Nephthys is unclear but the literal translation of her name is usually
given as “Lady of the House,” which has caused some to mistakenly identify her with the notion of
a “housewife,” or as the primary lady who ruled a domestic household. This is a pervasive error
repeated in many commentaries concerning this deity. Her name means quite specifically, “Lady of
the [Temple] Enclosure” which associates her with the role of priestess.

“Ascend and descend; descend with Nephthys, sink into darkness with the Night-bark. Ascend and
descend; ascend with Isis, rise with the Day-bark.”
Pyramid Text Utterance 222 line 210

Jessica Levai notes, ‘while Nephthys’s marriage to Set was a part of Egyptian mythology, it was
not a part of the myth of the murder and resurrection of Osiris. She was not paired with Set the
villain, but with Set’s other aspect, the benevolent figure who was the killer of Apophis. This was
the aspect of Set worshiped in the western oases during the Roman period, where he is depicted
with Nephthys as co-ruler.’
It is Nephthys who assists Isis in gathering and mourning the dismembered portions of the body of
Osiris, after his murder by the envious Set. Nephthys also serves as the nursemaid and watchful
guardian of the infant Horus. The Pyramid texts refer to Isis as the “birth-mother” and to Nephthys
as the “nursing-mother” of Horus. Nephthys was attested as one of the four “Great Chiefs” ruling
in the Osirian cult-center of Busiris, in the Delta.
Nephthys was also a beer Goddess and this may go somewhat to explaining her title of Lady of the
temple as beer was often drank at festivals and rituals. Nephthys is a goddess who gives the
Pharaoh power to see “that which is hidden by moonlight.” This fits well with more general textual
themes that consider Nephthys to be a goddess whose unique domain was darkness, or the
perilous edges of the desert. Nephthys was considered the unique protectress of the Sacred
Phoenix, or the Bennu Bird. This role may have stemmed from an early association in her native
Heliopolis, which was renowned for its “House of the Bennu” temple. In this role, Nephthys was
given the name “Nephthys-Kheresket,” and a wealth of temple texts from Edfu, Dendera, Philae,
Kom Ombo, El Qa’la, Esna, and others corroborate the late identification of Nephthys as the
supreme goddess of Upper Egyptian Nome VII, where another shrine existed in honor of
the Bennu.
the Bennu was a self-created being said to have played a role in the creation of the world. It was
said to be the ba (soul) of Ra and enabled the creative actions of Atum. It was said to have flown
over the waters of Nun that existed before creation, landing on a rock and issuing a call that
determined the nature of creation. It was also a symbol of rebirth and was therefore associated
with Osiris.
Nephthys in the natal chart is associated with nurturing potential, seeing what is unseen i.e.
potential talents and gifts still undiscovered and hidden from view that just need time and practice
to develop and ripen where Isis creates Nephthys nurtures to fruition.

Osiris 1923 Leave a comment

Coppicing is an English term for a traditional method of woodland management which takes
advantage of the fact that many trees make new growth from the stump or roots if cut down. In
a coppiced wood, young tree stems are repeatedly cut down to near ground level. In subsequent
growth years, many new shoots will emerge, and, after a number of years the coppiced tree,
or stool, is ready to be harvested, and the cycle begins again. Coppicing maintains trees at a
juvenile stage, and a regularly coppiced tree will never die of old age — some coppice stools may
therefore reach immense ages. The age of a stool may be estimated from its diameter, and some
are so large—perhaps as much as 5.4 metres (18 ft) across — that they are thought to have been
continually coppiced for centuries.
The story of Osiris is one of coppicing where we are cut down and torn to pieces only to be reborn
and form new shoots of life. It is a story that is familiar to us all for it is the story of rebirth
through trial, that strengthens our roots and gives us a strong foundation from which to start
again. Osiris in the natal chart represents growth and strengthening through trial and tribulation.

Osiris in aspect to the Sun will denote many trials in life that will make the person develop a
strong character and powerful sense of identity.

compassionate and empathic understanding of the pain and suffering of others.

experience and to take on board any lessons from these events.

Osiris in aspect to Venus also denotes much emotional upheaval and creation of a deeply
compassionate and empathic understanding of the pain and suffering of others.

Osiris in aspect to Mars denotes strong ability to grow and develop through trials and trauma with
a determination to overcome and succeed in life.

Isis 42 Leave a comment

Isis is connected to the flooding of the Nile, which fertilised the Nile delta by depositing nutrient
rich soil. In the mythology of Isis, Osiris and Horus there are various themes, Isis gathers all of
the parts of Osiris this gathering of the parts is a symbolic reunification of the Egyptian people
themselves and Egypt which at various points in history has been invaded. Isis reunites and
creates a whole nation once more the birth of Horus is a rebirth of Osiris, Egypt and its people and

Kleopatra 216 Leave a comment
Asteroid Kleopatra is named after the famous Queen. A key point in understanding Kleopatra is
the chart is understanding that to the Egyptians Kleopatra was not queen of Egypt but Queen of all
as other races were considered less, this meant she had absolute authority and was considered a
Goddess in human form that was sent to rule the world. This asteroid therefore on a basic level
represents where we see ourselves as infallible Gods or Goddesses and struggle to see our flaws.

However there is much more to Kleopatra than this, Kleopatra was co ruler with her brother they
took opposing sides with Kleopatra taking the view that the best position was to form an alliance
with Rome and her brother believing they should fight for independence. This lead to Kleopatra
committing what some would consider as treason in order to gain control of the throne. However
her sister Asinoe almost killed Caesar and he had to swim for his life before returning to Egypt with
a larger army. Asinoe was chained and dragged to Rome where she was meant to be killed in
front of the Roman crowd for entertainment. This backfired and the crowd were enraged Caesar
then quietened the crowd by having her imprisoned in the temple of Artemis in Ephesis where she
could claim sanctuary and be safe from harm but could not leave. However after Caesars death
Kleopatra broke the sacredness of the sanctuary by asking Mark Anthony to drag her out of the
temple and have her murdered.

In short Kleopatra gives great strength and charisma where ever it is placed in the chart, however
it makes us blind to our faults and flaws which can lead us to breaking moral and legal codes and
laws in order to fulfill our own ambitions in life regardless of the effects on others.

In aspect to the sun it creates a strong, magnetic and dynamic if somewhat ruthless personality
capable of charming others.

In aspect to the moon it indicates a strong maternal influence from which the individual shares a
lot of character traits and perspectives.

In aspect to Venus the individual may be very charming but capable of manipulating others easily
and they may have many lessons in their life where they reap the unintended consequences of
such actions.

Pele is the Hawaiian goddess of fire, lightning, and volcanoes.

She who shapes the sacred land lives in the Halema’uma’u crater
(click) and has been spilling lava on the southeastern shore of the big island almost
continuously since 1983, adding nearly 70 acres of land to the coastline.
Pele is asteroid 2202 at astro.com, go check her out in your chart. She is
currently nearing 9 degrees Libra. She is conjunct my MC and Mercury in my natal
chart, makes sense, I am always going on about earth and rocks and Gaia energies,
and Gneiss IS metamorphic.
Gaea (greek for Earth) is asteroid number 1184. Gaia was the great
mother of all: the heavenly gods and Titans were descended from her union with
Uranus (the sky), the sea-gods from her union with Pontus (the sea), the Giants from
her mating with Tartarus (the hell-pit) and mortal creatures were sprung or born
from her earthy flesh (click).

Gaea Rx is currently 11 degrees Scorpio. In my natal earth mama Gaia is conjunct

Venus in Leo 8th at 29 degrees conjunct fixed star Regulus (click). (Watcher of
the North, Archangel Raphael, Divine Healer, angel of Providence that watches over

Where do the goddesses of fire and earth fall in your natal chart ?
Consider Pele to be where you are in a continual phase of Plutonic destruction and
renewal. Gaia is the place in your chart where you embody earth spirits and
manifestations spring forth.

Odin stones have been worn for protection against ill omens, lightning strike, snake
venom and the evil eye. For an Odin to have power as an amulet, it cannot be
bought or sold – it must be found and freely given.

Odin stones were revered by Druids, and are steeped in mythology and legends
across the world. They are said to be windows into other worlds, living earth spirits.
When peering through the hole on a full moon, the world of faerie and spirits can be
seen. They represent the doorway between the physical and the spiritual, endowing
the wearer with high psychic powers.

A couple of quick asteroids:

Lucifer 1930
If you have seen The Prophecy, then you know why I chose to look up
Lucifer, I very briefly wrote about it here. Damage Control: It is a
representation of the fight betweengood and evil raging within us
all. Please also note Venus the morning star is Lucifer, Venus the evening
star is Hesperus and the pentagram is the shape of the her orbit. See it
here. Viggo has Lucifer in Capricorn, trine Pluto and quintile Venus; both
exact, hence the role in the creative arts. Note also that many astrologers
don’t give account to anything but tight conjunctions for asteroids. I pitch
’em out there for interest, flavor.
Varda 174567
Previous post here. In J.R.R. Tolkien’s mythology, Varda is queen of the
stars, aka thestar-kindler. Varda, the bestower of blessings is in exact
conjunction with Viggo’s natal Venus. This pleases me… for two reasons.
One: Varda bestows charm and grace upon Viggo through Venus.
Two: The ring (Venus rules rings) Aragorn wore was called Elessar, the
Elfstone, the stone of Eärendil. Crafted by the Noldor, it was of the
deepest green and held the light of the Sun, bestowing healing
powers upon the wearer. The ring was given to him as a gift (Venus) from
Galadriel (for his marriage to Arwen) at the time the Fellowship left
Lothlórien. Aragorn took Elessar as his royal name as was foretold.
History of Elessarhere and here.
Asteria (asteroid 658) the starry one is the Titan goddess of prophecy and astrology. Her
placement in the natal chart indicates ways and means of reading and divining by the stars.
She is currently at 0 degrees Libra.
Athena, the Amazon warrior goddess was born from the head of Zeus fully
armed, locked and loaded, ready to fight. She is the daughter of Metis
(wisdom, thought) who was foretold to have great power.
Power enough to defy Zeus himself.
Pallas was discovered while on the 29th culmination degree of Mercury-
ruled Virgo conjunct (out of sign) Uranus in Libra. Leo Jupiter was conjunct
Saturn (out of sign) indicating not only a truth seeker, but also a wise
leader.

Isis was a cosmic goddess with terrestrial power – a magickal woman.

Isis’ consort is the Neter Ausar – the first god to die and be
resurrected.
Pluto ! After Set’s betrayal and murder of Ausar, Isis searched the earth
to bring all the pieces (save one, the phallus) of her beloved Ausar
together again and bring him back to life. Teachers Auset and Asar
walked the earth after the catastrophes of Atlantis bringing agriculture
and healing, before returning to their home in the heavens.
This card signals strong magickal protection.
It indicates colossal creative powers – rebirth and resurrection.
Gathering of that which is beloved, that which was thought lost.
This card calls us to honor life and the feminine principle in all things.
For every time of Yang there must also be a time of Yin.
Asteroid Isis 42

Prometheus was a trickster titan, who with his brother, Epimetheus, was
given the task (by Zeus) of creating life on earth; both animal and
man. Epimetheus (whose name means afterthought) fashioned a
multitude of animals giving them qualities of strength, stamina and speed
accordingly.
Prometheus (whose name means forethought) fashioned man out of clay
only to realize his brother had used all the graces on animals, leaving him
no gifts to give mankind. Having affection for humans, he sided with them
against the gods, primarily Zeus. Prometheus stole a spark of fire and
gave this wondrous gift to man, enabling humans to keep warm, cook,
forge tools, be independent.
In a fit of rage, Zeus doomed Prometheus to eternal punishment by
chaining him to the Caucasus Mountains and sending a hawk to eat out
his liver each day (which in turn, regenerated each night). His
punishment ended when Hercules found him chained while searching the
ends of the earth for the tree of golden apples (the 11th of his 12 labors).
In exchange for the location of the tree, Hercules agreed to help him,
speaking to the gods on his behalf which led to the end of torment for
two. Chiron, the immortal centaur, teacher, herbalist carried a painful
wound (accidentally given by Hercules) which would not heal. Chiron
willingly exchanged places with Prometheus, which led to freedom for
both – Prometheus escaped; Chiron was relieved of his eternal suffering by
death.
::::::::::::::::::::::::
Asteroid Prometheus 1809
Prometheus indicates both intellectual fire and forethought – very handy,
as a quick mind is nothing much without first a plan to direct and focus
the energy. This asteroid points to tricky maneuvers and yes, thieving
that which is cherished.
It has a bit of Robin Hood flavor, being that fire was taken from the haves
and given to the have nots. Prometheus in that (ahem) light can also
indicate where you rescue others by virtue of your gifts.

Asteroid Pandora 55
This asteroid is curiosity in spades – where you get a whammy curveball – you don’t
even see it coming. Pandora indicates where you think on your feet to deal
with unforeseen circumstances – it is a point of exploration into the unknown, where you
get more than you bargained for. Pandora is also a point of hope and faith that life will
work itself out for the best with the right altitude. Necessity is the mother of invention –
Pandora will lead you to your latent creative talents.

Our planets / placements are like family – “how do they get along ?” is a fair question.
I contemplated much the same in my last ‘popularity’ post. So I decided to let the cosmos
speak through divination.

Asteroid 450 Brigitta will be found at 10 Aries applying square to Pluto Rx

in Capricorn at time of New Moon in Cancer.
Asteroid Quercus 8643 (Oak, see link below) will be found forming a Grand
Water Trine at 17 Cancer trine Saturn Rx in Scorpio and trine Chiron Rx in
Pisces.
Brigid is the goddess of fire and forge – her vessel is the cauldron, her
flame burns in Kildare, a sacred tree of the druids, an Oak Tree. She is a
goddess of water, healing, midwifery, keeper of sacred wells. Brigid is a
triple goddess – union between opposites – growth, and the power of
three.
She is the goddess of poetry, inspiring oral traditions, songs and tales.
Brigid, patron saint of Students, was born in tumultuous times when
Christianity was gaining a foothold in Ireland – she helped to marry the
Celtic and Christian worlds, she developed a scriptorium to distribute
books, particularly The Book of Kildare, said to rival the Book of Kells.
(The weaving of worlds is apparent in the artwork.)
Freya is asteroid 76, she can currently be found at 11 degrees Cancer –
the sign of the Great Mother. WoW. Very cool.
She opposes 12 degree Pluto Rx in Capricorn, signaling a juggling of
energies – between metamorphic renovation of old school ideology on
Earth (Capricorn) and shared passion for protecting beauty and
harmony via fair and loving partnership.
Freya squares Mars Libra – actions being taken in honor of partnerships,
contracts and bonds leading to responsible active stewardship of our
Mother, Gaia.
Freya squares Uranus at 16 Aries (which opposes Mars) –
demanding intelligent methods of moving forward that also
nurture that which is precious – LIFE.
Love is POWER made beautiful.
Freya appears on The Lovers card, signaling choice.
She choose the fallen ones who would be received in Valhalla at the table
of Odin.
Choose LOVE
Choose HARMONY
Choose PEACE
According to the Homeric Hymn to Apollo the site was eventually conquered by Apollo.
In Greek mythology, Apollo (Apollon) is the god of divine light who drove the sun
across the sky in a chariot. Apollo is also god of prophecy and oracles, song and
poetry, music, healing, archery, and the protection of the young. He is
usually pictured with a wreath and branch of laurel; bow and quiver; raven; and
lyre.

Asteroid Pythia 432 – This asteroid (discovered 12.18.1897) has a 5 planet Sagittarius
stellium of late degrees Sun, Mars, Venus conjunct with early degrees Saturn conjunct
Uranus opposing Pluto, Pythia and Neptune conjunct in Gemini all Rx.
Long distance communication, moral codes and higher philosophy is most
definitely the name of the game with this asteroid.

Asteroid Apollo 1862 – This asteroid (discovered 4.24.1932) has an Aries stellium of
Mercury, Mars and Uranus as well as a T-Square: Taurus Sun focal planet square Leo
Jupiter opposite Aquarius Saturn. Solid creative exuberance lead by an impulsive
child-like curiosity. Cancer Pluto squares all that Aries, while Jupiter trines it – explosive
impulses lead the way to whammy emotional transformation – via women, the
public, the masses; Jupiter has faith enough to try again.

Asteroid Apollo indicates a place where reckless mistakes are made

over and over with wild abandon – mistakes which lead
to metamorphic emotional enlightenment. It is a place of child-like
curiosity, naiveté and unbridled enthusiasm for life, regardless of
difficulties.
Asteroid Delphine 3218 – This asteroid (discovered 9.24.1960) features

Look to asteroid Pompeii to see how you deal with completely unexpected circumstances
that blow your mind and your world inside out.
I guarantee you having Pompeii on Uranus is a wild ride.
Themis, the daughter of Gaia and Ouranus, is the oracular voice of the
Earth.
She is the goddess of Divine Law and Justice – a seer who presided over
the most ancient oracles, including the Delphic oracle. She is usually
pictured blindfolded to represent her impartiality. Themis judged whether
the dead went to Tartarus (hell) or the Elysian Fields (paradise).
Themis is asteroid 24, discovered 1853
Look to your natal Themis to see where you embody divine law, justice
and impartiality. She may seem cold, (science says she is covered with
ice) unemotional, but she is in fact – LOGICAL and FAIR.

Asteroid Inari 1532

Inari is the offspring of the impetuous storm god, Susanoo. Inari
is protector of rice cultivation, who furthers prosperity and is worshiped
particularly by merchants and tradesmen. Inari is patron deity of
swordsmiths and is associated with brothels and entertainers.

Forneus teaches the knowledge and understanding of languages and tongues, the art of
rhetoric. Being a worthy and honest opponent leads to a good reputation, makes one
beloved by foes as well as friends.
His totem beast is a sea monster, signifying deep knowledge and understanding of the
subconscious, including the shadow side – the faults we prefer to disregard, but which trip us
up when ignored.

Achilles, the demigod (half god, half human), son of Nereid (sea nymph)
Thesis, and Peleus, the king of Myrmidons – was the greatest warrior of
the army of Agamemnon in the Trojan War. Achilles is most known for
the Battle of Troy, where he slayed Hector, the eldest son of Kim Priam
of Troy.
The demigod was defeated by Hector’s brother, Paris, when an
arrow guided by the Sun God Apollo impaled Achilles in his only
weak spot – his heel.
When a child, Achilles’ mother, Thetis, dipped him in the waters of the River Styx, by
which he became invulnerable, except for the part of his heel by
which she held him – the proverbial “Achilles’ heel.”
The Achilles tendon connects the calf muscles to the heel bone – together
these muscles produce a foot action that is basic to walking, running, and
jumping.
The Achilles tendon is the thickest and most powerful tendon in
the body.
If the tendon is cut, use of the leg for running or jumping is lost.
This I have discovered, is where I have more, extra special, Saturn
(satan?!) growth. My pixies are pitching sands and pebbles instead of
fairy dust & glitter. haa Saturn Rx transit on natal Neptune in 11th
(natural house of Aquarius – ankles) and I can barely walk by the end of
the day due to bone spurs jangling my tendon as I walk, so I looked up the
astro.

This Norse study led me to contemplate what is the difference

between fate & destiny ?
Fate is divinely preordained, fixed.
Destiny, we have the power to shape.
(Love the one word answer to the ? given on the web: faith.)
Asteroid Destinn 6583
I mentioned study, one of the pages I found had some really great info
re: fate, destiny & time from someone far more learned in Norse
mythology.
I share it here, with a link.
In contrast to the Greek concept of fate, in ancient Germanic beliefs, all
beings who are subject to destiny have some degree of agency in shaping
their own destiny and the destinies of others – this is the dew that falls
back into the well from the branches of the tree, accordingly reshaping
the past and its influence upon the present. All beings do this passively;
those who practice magick do it actively. There is no absolutely free will,
just as there is no absolutely unalterable fate; instead, life is lived
somewhere between these two extremes. source

Asteroid Gaea 1184

Asteroid Erda 894

Instructions to see your chart here. Choose extended, pop # in additional

at the very bottom for asteroids.

I have written loads of Gaia posts click here for more.

I am a dirt-loving Earthgirl through and through – anxious for warmth so I
can dig it.

Erda is the norse goddess of the Earth.

She is often associated with the Three Norns, the spinners of
fate who guard the Well of Urd aka Weird’s well (well of destiny) at
the base of Yggdrasil, the great ash World Tree of Life. The well is a holy
place where the Aesir (Asgardian Gods) often gathered.
Growing from the well, Yggdrasil stands at the center of the cosmos
and holds the Nine Worlds – humans, gods, and all other beings live in
its branches and roots. The goddess Erda waters it from the well of her
wisdom. We live on Midgard (fourth world), aka Middle Earth. We are
linked with Asgard (first world, home of the Aesir) by The Rainbow
Bridge aka Bifrost.
Yggdrasil dwells within the heart of everything – micro and
macroworlds.
Erda is the Great Mother, the single living organism supporting all
beings on our planet. She breathes life, has heart, soul, grows and
changes like humans – only at a much slower vibration.
The name Earth originates from the 8th century anglo-Saxon
word: erda which meansground or soil. Earth is the only planet whose
name in English is not derived from greco-roman mythology. Cool, yeah ?

Asteroids Erda and Gaea obviously represent your connection with the
Earth.
They indicate in which ways you are practical, skilled, also slowed.
They show how and where you ground yourself.
In synastry, they show how and where others ground you.

Asteroid Destinn is just what it sounds like – Destiny.

Destinn attracts grand meetings on par with what it contacts in your natal.
eg. Destinn conjunct Mars: fated men, actions, aggression, power, competition
In synastry it indicates someone is your catalyst via that contact planet
eg. Mars conj Destinn synastry – someone changes your
actions/plans/direction
Composite Destinn indicates coupled power to change the world at large

Nut is the card I drew.

Nut is NIGHT, the goddess of the sky :: the milky way :: the creative
polarity (Note: Uranus is polarities) of Nu NIGHT which is the number one,
the first impulse of creation – energy in a state of rest.
Nut is energy contained in matter – the energy of Nu with directional force
in order to become manifest.
Nut IS creation –
both the beginning and end
she is the RESOLUTION of ALL DUALITY.
Two sides of the ONE.
Be humble for you are made of earth – be noble for you are made of stars.
Serbian Proverb
Egyptians said the gods deny the requests of those who do not realize
they are gods themselves.
We are ALL ONE.
Nut is the Sky is arched over the earth in protection, she is the link
between the divine ethereal and material manifestation – through her we
can leave this world through WILL POWER of the MIND.
NU and NUT represent the undines, associated in tarot with Cups:
emotions, intuition, dreams and inspiration.
Nut is Knowledge and Protection of the Great Mother.
She is the flux between ACTION and REACTION
the HAND and the FOOT
the PAST and the FUTURE.
She allows TRANSCENDENCE of the boundaries of TIME.
She indicates protection, freedom and connection to all that IS.

Bastet, or Ubasti, Egyptian cat goddess is asteroid 4257. Ubasti is

the warrior goddess who protected the lower Nile, the Pharaoh and Ra
(Sun God). She has been called upon since the Second Dynasty for
blessings of fertility and protection from thieves. She is also associated
with scent, or pleasant ointments. When her temple was excavated they
found the mummified remains of over 300,000 cats. Bastet is the mild
eastern sun associated with spring. Her name comes from the root bes,
meaning fire. She embodies qualities of both the sun and moon – she
draws opposites together.
Ubasti in the natal is a place of fertility, sensuality, sexuality and it is
where you are a fierce protector of that which you hold sacred, particularly
family and home.

Check out asteroid Sphinx 896. The Sphinx is a keeper of secrets, a guardian with the
body of a lion, the wings of a griffon (in Asia), and the face of a human. The Sphinx posed
riddles to travelers on the road to Thebes, if they answered wrong, she devoured them.
Sphinx in your chart is where you must face challenges, where you guard yourself, your life.
Sphinx is also where you guard secrets, mysteries and knowledge which will only be
revealed as the time is right. Those of you familiar with Edgar Cayce know the Hall
of Records is reportedly buried under the paw. More here.

Egyptian lion goddess Sekhmet is asteroid 5381. Sekhmet is a destroyer

goddess, derived from sekhem, or power, and khem which means dark chaos that gives
birth to light.
In the natal chart, Sekhmet represents the transformation of death into wisdom and
enlightenment – she is the scorching sun, she is the renewal gained from suffering, the fire
that burns the enemy. She is healing through death and rebirth akin to Plutonic and phoenix
energies. She is power, magic and strength.

Ancestor wisdom, long term growth both above and below as it relates to
the yang or outgoing masculine energies of the world.
Sirens represent temptation – spot on for the Neptunian waters
squaring the solar principle in Gemini. She waits for an equitable
exchange of energy – of action – a balance of the number two inherent in
this card of dualities.
Patriarchal society has been held sway by Venus for centuries.
The wrong side of Venus – the love of money.

Jupiter is Expansion.
Saturn is Restriction.
Jupiter is faith, trust, enthusiastic exploration into understanding
the whole world.
Saturn is discipline, limitation, sharp concentration on success via
excellent work.

Asteroid Karma is 3811 pop it into your natal for insights.

Karma is the law of moral causation. It is the result of our own past
actions and our own present doings. We ourselves are responsible for
our own happiness and misery. We create our own Heaven. We create
our own Hell. We are the architects of our own fate. More
philosophical karma info here.

Asteroid Swift 5035

expediency, obstacles falling away

Asteroid Concordia 58
Desire for peace and harmony

Which brings me to the point of this post.

Mercury is numbers, counting, perceptions.
Saturn is mathematics.
Saturn
(traditional ruler of the fixed sign Aquarius)
is form and matter – the building blocks – earth plane..
Uranus is the higher octave of numbers, counting and perceptions.
Uranus is spirals.
The geometric electrical energy grid that connects all life on earth.

Which leads me to believe Uranus rules sacred geometry as well as Saturn.

Thoughts . . .?

Rhiannon, asteroid 16912, is closely linked with inspiration, dreams /

nightmares, change, being steadfast in crisis, magick, horses (sacred to
the Celts) and mystical birds. The singing birds of Rhiannon were said
to ‘wake the dead, and ease the living to sleep’. (see Welsh tales link
above)
She also indicates strong emotions (Moon), lost loved ones
and forgiveness (Neptune), life essence and powers that thrive within the
depths of wellsprings and lakes.
Also consider Rhiannon a place where you regain what you have lost.
Rhiannon’s story is said to have grown into the legend of the Lady of the
Lake, the water spirit who was foster mother to Sir Lancelot and presented
King Arthur with the magickal sword Excalibur. It was commonplace for
Celts to offer gifts to water spirits, especially valuables and weapons, a
tradition that continues today in the form of wishing wells. Lady of the
Lake is synonymous with Lady Luck.

Ceres (Roman for Demeter, also the root word of cereal) the
Goddess of Grain was the Great Earth Mother of Persephone.
When Hades abducted Persephone to the underworld, Ceres searched the
world, grieving for her lost daughter. Ceres failed to nurture the grain and
crops withered and died. While Ceres grieved, the world fell into hunger
until Zeus intervened, ordering Hades to return Persephone.
Hades did so, but first tricked Persephone into eating a bite of mystical
pomegranate, which meant she was forced to return to the underworld for
a portion of each year. It is in these months that winter blankets the world
and foliage goes dormant.
Interestingly, Ceres is traditionally connected with Henna, Sicily which at
931m above sea level, is the highest Italian province capital. It has
earned the nicknames “belvedere” (panoramic viewpoint) and “ombelico”
(navel) of Sicily. It is said to be the site of Persephone’s abduction to the
underworld and the site of Ceres’ most ancient Sanctuary. (wiki)
Highest point to search from, navel of Sicily – sounds like a searching
mother to me..!
Ceres in the natal chart indicates loss, grief, searching, and wrath – but
Ceres also indicates joy, transformation, rebirth and the return
of something lost. Ceres is a place of interaction with the earth – where
you can ground your wayward energies and nurture yourself. Ceres is
where you are both mother and mothered, it is where you nurture, and
also where your growth is nurtured by others.
One of the most prominent women in Roman history, Octavia was
respected and admired for her loyalty, nobility and humanity, and for
maintaining traditional Roman feminine virtues. (wiki)
Octavia means eight: purpose, control, strength and power in regeneration.

She is asteroid 598.

Asteroid Octavia is curre

Second, about time: I experience space and time between me, you and
everything in the known and unknown universe then, now, whenever and
wherever as in flux, alive and breathing, energetically in flow and
exchanging.
Time is fluid – past, present and future are occurring simultaneously, in
unison. What is happening now will change the past and future.
Historically, humans thought the earth was flat.
Historically humans thought time only flowed in one direction.
Time is, for lack of better words, timey- whimey.
:::::::::::::::::::::
Astrologers study the wheel of life, the cycles of life – or the breathing of
time – if you will. The cycles and macro planetary influences as they
circle into, and out of, our personal micro spheres, our physical realm, our
universe comprised of flesh, bone, brain, cells and vessels. Time breathes
with us. Time is cyclic.
:::::::::::::::::::::
For most of traditional humanity, linear history is profane, and sacredness
lies in cyclictime. The Sacred cannot be found in the mythical age; it
exists outside all ages. Thus, human fulfilment does not lie in returning to
a sacred time, but in escaping from time altogether, in “a transcendence
of the cosmos.” {snip} The philosophical concept of eternal return {is
born as} an endless cosmic cycle, with no beginning and, thus, no
inherently sacred time. source
