Valley Line Non-perfoltnance events

We have reached a decision about your request of May 09, 2018 for access under the Freedom of
Information and Protection of Privacy Act (the Act) to the following:

• All records related to non-conformity/non-performance events experienced on the Valley

Line project to date. Including a summary list of all non-conformity/non-performance
events which has a brief description, classification, date of occurrence and status (open or
resolved).

Time range: February 01, 2016 to May 09, 2018

After considering all relevant factors, including representations received from the third party
whose interests could be affected by the disclosure of the records, we have refused access to the
requested records based on section 16 (disclosure harmful to business interests of a third party)
of the Act.

Under section 65(1) the Act, you may ask the Infounation and Privacy Commissioner to review
this decision. To request a review, you must complete and deliver a Request for Review faun
within 60 days from the date of this notice to the Commissioner at 410, 9925 — 109 Street,
Edmonton, Alberta, T5K 2J8. The fottn is available under the Resources tab on the
Commissioner's website www.oipe.ab.ca or you can call 1-888-878-4044 to request a copy of
the form.

Section 67(1) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act requires the
Commissioner to give a copy of your request for review to the head of a public body and to any
other person who, in the Commissioner's opinion, is affected by the request. Therefore your
request for review should not contain any information that you do not wish exchanged with the
other parties.
If you wish to request a review, please provide the Commissioner's office with the following
infoiniation:
1. The reference number quoted at the top of this notice.
2. A copy of this letter.
3. A copy of your original request for information that you sent to The City of Edmonton.
