1. Load Surface (New)

Define Load Surface

[Member] Tab > [Specific] > [Load Surface] > [Define Load Surface]

• Define a virtual 2D member to apply as

surface load such as slab load, snow load
and pressure load. And it is created in
the same way as slab creation.

• Surface Load is converted to Point Loads

by reflecting the stiffness of virtual 2D
member. These point loads are entered
at the connection points of the load
surface and the beam.

• Load surface is just for applying loads

and does not affect the analysis.

1. Load Surface (New)

Ignored Distribution Member

[Member] Tab > [Specific] > [Load Surface] > [Ignored Distribution Member]

 This function is to select the members to be

ignored the load distribution from load surface.

Unapplied: Surface Load will be transferred to all support members

Apply: Surface Load will be transmitted to the nodes except for the nodes of selected element

2. Snow Load as per Eurocode (New)

Auto Generate Snow Load

[Load] Tab > [Gravity] > [Snow Load] > [Auto Generate Snow Load ]

 Snow load support for EN1991: 2003 (Recommended) and EN1991: 2003 (Poland).
With this function, the selected members are recognized as one group and the snow loads are automatically applied to this group according to the shape of
the members.

2. Snow Load as per Eurocode (New)

Assign Snow Load

[Load] Tab > [Gravity] > [Snow Load] > [Assign Snow Load]

 Ignore the shape of the selected elements and assigns the value calculated by the
"Snow Load Calculator" or by “user input “ to the elements.
