5. MST181 IC INTRODUCTION

5.1) IC FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION:-


MST6M181VS is a single chip Multimedia TV SoC (System on Chip), that
supports TV channel decoding and media – centre functionalityenabled by a
high performance AV CODEC and CPU. It includes advanced motion adaptive
3D comb filter TV decoder to retrieve the best image from popular
composite signals and embedded HDTV/VGA decoders for the high
bandwidth input signals perfectly reproducing. Key features of the IC are as
below:

 MPEG-2, MPEG-4 and H.264 Video Decoder.
 Real Media decoder supporting max. resolution of 720P@30 frames/Sec.

10. SW INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
The SW installation in MST181 chassis can be done with USB in two
procedures.
1.) Set in Stand by condition.
2.) In Set ON condition.
9.1.) SW installation in Stand By condition: -`
