A. Preparation

Good morning class? (Good morning Sir). How’s your day? Have you eaten your
breakfast? (Yes Sir). Before we start our new class lesson let us pray.

1. Motivation

Do you want to play a game? (Yes Sir). But first I want you to group in two groups. I
have a bond paper, pencil in my envelop. All you have to do is to draw a surrounding. Whose groups have
a beautiful drawing will get price from me. Is that clear class? (Yes Sir)

2. Unlocking of Difficulties

Before we are going to read a story I have here some unfamiliar words in the bond paper.
I will use them in a sentence then tell me the meaning of the underline words.

The mouse is thin


The basket had small hole
She crept in
The mouse found the basket
The mouse tried to climb out of the basket

B. Presentation

I have picture here in the bond paper. Do you like the picture class? (Yes Sir). What do
you see in the picture? (Mouse, Basket, Corn).

Today we are going to read the story the hungry mouse. I want you to listen. Is that clear? (Yes
Sir).

At this time class I will the read first the story then follow after me. ( The teacher will read first
then, group, rows, individual).
