Philippians 3:10-21 KJV
That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship
of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death; [11] If by any
means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. [12] Not as though I
had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I
may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. [13]
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do,
forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those
things which are before, [14] I press toward the mark for the prize of the
high calling of God in Christ Jesus. [15] Let us therefore, as many as be
perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God
shall reveal even this unto you. [16] Nevertheless, whereto we have already
attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing. [17]
Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye
have us for an ensample. [18] (For many walk, of whom I have told you
often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the
cross of Christ: [19] Whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and
whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.) [James 4:4-5] [20]
For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the
Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: [21] Who shall change our vile body, that it
may be fashioned like unto His glorious body, according to the working
whereby He is able even to subdue all things unto himself. [Titus 2:11-14]

that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and may share His
sufferings, becoming like Him in His death, [11] that by any means possible I
may attain the resurrection from the dead. [12] Not that I have already
obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own,
because Christ Jesus has made me His own. [13] Brothers, I do not consider
that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind
and straining forward to what lies ahead, [14] I press on toward the goal for
the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. [15] Let those of us who
are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will
reveal that also to you. [16] Only let us hold true to what we have attained.
[17] Brothers, join in imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk
according to the example you have in us. [18] For many, of whom I have
often told you and now tell you even with tears, walk as enemies of the
cross of Christ. [19] Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they
glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things. [20] But our
citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,
[21] who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the
power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we
have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the
heavens. [2] For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with

being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that

home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: [7] (For we walk by faith,

from the body, and to be present with the Lord. [9] Wherefore we labour,
that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. [10] For we
must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may
receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done,
whether it be good or bad. [11] Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord,
we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are
made manifest in your consciences. [12] For we commend not ourselves
again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may
have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in
heart. [13] For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we
be sober, it is for your cause. [14] For the love of Christ constraineth us;
because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: [15] And
that He died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto
themselves, but unto Him which died for them, and rose again.

For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have
a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord. [9] So
whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him. [10]
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one
may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or
evil. [11] Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade others. But
what we are is known to God, and I hope it is known also to your
conscience. [12] We are not commending ourselves to you again but giving
you cause to boast about us, so that you may be able to answer those who
boast about outward appearance and not about what is in the heart. [13]
For if we are beside ourselves, it is for God; if we are in our right mind, it is
for you. [14] For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded
this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; [15] and he died for
all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who
for their sake died and was raised.
