a) All well control equipment shall comply with the latest edition "Shell Yes
Pressure Control Manual for Drilling and Workover Operations
"EP 2002-1500” – September 2008 version, and PDO Specification
SP-1213 2016 revision.
b) All well control equipment shall meet the latest edition of ISO 15156 Yes
sour service. This applies to all possible flow-wetted parts of the
BOP. BOP bodies / bonnets shall be made from forgings or
castings. Casted components shall have full UT and X-Ray. BOPs
to be manufactuered in accordance with API 16A and have API
monogram (full traceability of material inspections). English
operating and maintenance manual shall be included. Contractor
shall load PMS system with the required maintenance routines.
Contractor shall have on-site access to consumables and reginal
OEM support.
c) Only genuine OEM or OEM approved spares/replacement parts shall Yes
be used in the maintenance of well control equipment. No
alterations shall be made to any well control equipment without the
written approval of the OEM or OEM approved facility.
1. Re-certification that includes remanufacturer modifications are
to be carried out by an OEM or OEM-approved facility.
2. Any replacement parts: flanges, valves, fittings, and discharge
lines used in the maintenance of choke manifold assembly
should contain metals and seals in accordance with as the
document list in section C6.
Note: For equipment where the OEM doesn’t exist anymore
through take-over the new owner takes on OEM responsibility. If
the OEM is out of business without take-over then agreement needs
to be sought with Company for an approved technical authority who
can take on the recertification.
Bottom ram cavity suitable for blind/shears that can shear and seal on
all drill pipe in use (except HWDP) underconditions of pressurized
wellbore upto the rated working pressure of the Annual BOPs. Spacer
spool shall need to avoid in/external upset exposed to shear blade.
The entire BOP must be easily asscessible for maintenance and

One 4 x 4 Contractor Long wheel base vehicle must be on Yes
site at alll times that can accommodate and properly secure
a stretcher inside the vehicle. This stretcher shall be
permanently fixed at all times and shall be at a low height to
travenous transfusion . The vehicle will not be combined
with a PDO Company Site Representative vehicle or
Contractor toolpusher or mechanic/ electrician vehicle.
Vehicles which have been permanently converted into a
medical casualty evacuation vehicle must ensure that :
- Rear passenger seats are removed at all times
