With color A (use the darkest of the colors as

this will form the bottom - teal),

Magic circle, ch 1

Round 1: 11 sc into the circle. Join (sl st) in

beginning ch 1. Ch 1 (11)

Round 2: 2 sc into each st around. Join (sl st).

Ch 1 (22)

Round 3: *1 sc into next st, 2 sc into next st. *

Repeat * around. Join (sl st). Ch 1 (33)

Round 4: *1 sc into each of the next 2 sts, 2 sc

into next st. *Repeat * around. Join (sl st). Ch

If you want a smaller or larger bag, you can

stop/keep increasing in this manner until base is
desired size.

BODY OF BAG:

Round 1: *dc into the hole at the base of your

join, *sk 1, 2dc*. Repeat between * and * all
around. Join (sl st). Ch 2.

Keep working Round 2 for 6 more rounds.

You’ll have a total of 10 rounds of the “clusters”
in the darkest color (teal).

Change color on 11th round, still working as in
Round 2, and work a total of 10 rounds in your
TRIM:
next color (cream).
Using 5mm hook and with right side facing, join

Row 12-25 : *Ch 1. Sc 8. Turn.* Repeat from *

If you want a shorter/longer handle, work

fewer/more rows that indicated. However, keep
in mind that when this bag is full, the handle will
strech significantly.

For the other side of the handle, fold bag in half

so that centre of the completed strap is at the
fold. Find your middle stitch on the other side
and count back 6 stitches from there. Work
strap as indicated above.

Sew or sl st both sides together.
