1. Figure below shows the online diagram of a three bus power system with generation at bus 1.
The magnitude of voltage at bus 1 is adjusted to 1.05 per unit. The scheduled load at bus 2
and 3 are marked on the diagram. Line admittances are marked in per unit on a 100 MVA base
and the line charging susceptances are neglected.

2. A circuit of a single-phase transmission line is composed of three solid 2.5-cm radius wires.
The return circuit is composed of two solid 0.5-cm radius wires. The arrangement of
conductors is as shown in Figure 2. Applying the concept of the GMD and GMR, find the
inductance of the the X-bundle of the line in mH/km.
