 ‐ For Youngest player award, minimum 1 win or 2 draws required 
 ‐ For academy prizes, minimum 10 players per academy should play. Entry should come from head of the academy before 
commencement of tournament. 
 
 
Note: If more than one players are on same position even after TIE breaks. Cash prize will
be shared equally.
 
 
 
 
1. .  SYSTEM OF PLAY: 
The tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws of Chess and FIDE Swiss System with 10 rounds. 
2.   TIME CONTROL: 
90 Minutes each with 30 seconds increment from move no.1. 
3.   DEFAULT WALKOVER TIME: 
        30 Minutes from move no. 1. 
4.   TIEBREAK: 
Following is the order of tie‐break: 
1) Direct encounter 2) Buchholz Cut 1 3) Buchholz 4) Sonneborn Berger 5) The greater number 
of wins 
 In case of tie, cash prizes will not be shared 
5. .  AICF PLAYER ‘S REGISTRATION: 
AICF Registration for 2018‐19 is mandatory for all players. Players who are not registered with AICF 
before, have to complete their registration through online portal www.aicf.in. Kindly note that only 
players who have done their AICF registration will be included in the first round pairing. 
6.   UPCSA PLAYER ‘S REGISTRATION: 
All the participants from Uttar Pradesh must be registered with UPCSA also. UPCSA player ‘s 
registration for the year 2018‐19 is mandatory for the participants. Participants should send their 
UPCSA player ‘s registration fee (Rs. 200/‐) with the entry form. 
7.              GDCSA PLAYER ‘S REGISTRATION: 

All the participants from Ghaziabad must be registered with GDCSA also. GDCSA player ‘s 
registration for the year 2018‐19 is mandatory for the participants. Participants should send their 
GDCSA player ‘s registration fee (Rs. 100/‐) with the entry form. 
8.              TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE: 

The organizers will form a tournament committee for the smooth conduct of the tournament. 
9.   PROTESTS: 
Protests, if any against the decision of the Chief Arbiter, shall be made in writing with a protest fee of 
Rs. 1000/‐ within 30 minutes of the completion of the game. The amount shall be refunded if the 
appeal is upheld. 
10.    APPEALS COMMITTEE:  

Before the commencement of the tournament, a five‐member committee of Appeal shall be formed 
from amongst the senior participants and officials present at the Manager's meeting. No member of 
the Committee can vote on dispute in which a player from his own State is involved. 
 
 
 AC Accommodations at venue available on Sharing basis and Breakfast, lunch & Dinner for
All Participants Rs.5500/- (Twin Sharing) and Rs. 5000 (Triple Sharing) (Except Entry Fee).

Note: Accommodation is given from 27-09-18 Morning to 02-10-18 Morning (Total 5

Nights)

 No request towards waiver of entry fee or waiver of late fee will be entertained. Entry
fee not Refundable and Transferable.
