Nilibot ni Jesus ang lahat ng lungsod at nayon. Siya ay nagtuturo sa kanilang mga
sinagoga at nangangaral ng ebanghelyo ng paghahari. Siya ay nagpagaling ng lahat
ng uri ng mga sakit at karamdaman.

Nang makita niya ang napakaraming tao, nahabag siya sa kanila sapagkat
nanlulupaypay sila at nangalat katulad ng mga tupang walang pastol.

Nang magkagayon, sinabi niya sa kaniyang mga alagad: Totoong marami ang
aanihin ngunit kakaunti ang manggagawa.

Idalangin nga ninyo sa Panginoon ng anihan na magpadala siya ng mga

At pinalapit niya sa kaniya ang kaniyang labingdalawang alagad, at binigyan niya
sila ng kapamahalaan laban sa mga karumaldumal na espiritu, upang mapalabas
nila, at upang kanilang mapagaling ang lahat ng sarisaring sakit at ang lahat ng
sarisaring karamdaman.

Ang labingdalawang ito'y sinugo ni Jesus, at sila'y pinagbilinan, na sinasabi, Huwag kayong
magsitungo sa alin mang daan ng mga Gentil, at huwag kayong magsipasok sa alin mang
bayan ng mga taga Samaria:

Kundi bagkus magsiparoon kayo sa mga tupang nangawaglit sa bahay ni Israel.

At samantalang kayo'y nangaglalakad, ay magsipangaral kayo, na mangagsabi, Ang
kaharian ng langit ay malapit na.

Mangagpagaling kayo ng mga may sakit, mangagpabangon kayo ng mga patay,
