Guidelines for filling-up of the ONLINE application

and Fee Payment on JMET 2011 website

Please click on “How to apply” and read the contents carefully before you
begin to apply.

Please click on “faq” link and read the contents carefully before you begin to
apply. You are also requested to go through the rest of the pages on JMET
2011 website for additional information.

Only after carefully reading this “ONLINE application guidelines”, you should
proceed to click on “online application submission” link to submit your
application. The first step in the ONLINE application process is
“Registration”.

Step 1:

Please read the above instructions carefully and fill the registration details. It is
important for you to remember your password as it is required to check your
application status on the “app_status” link of JMET 2011 website after two
working days of the submission of the application fee. 1
Step 2:

Please read the above instructions carefully and make a note of your password.
By clicking in the check box, you are also accepting that you have noted down
your application number. For any future communication, this application
number will be the reference.

Step 3:

After filling the above information, when you click on NEXT, a preview of
your application will be generated. Please make sure that your photo image
and signature image are in .jpg format. It SHOULD NOT be in .jpeg or any
other format. A pdf file of the scanned copy of the category certificate should
be uploaded.

Step 4:

Please check the contents of your above application including the uploaded
photograph and the signature image. You can also check your uploaded
category certificate (if applicable). If you are satisfied, you may proceed to
click on NEXT.

Step 5:

ONLY after reading the declaration and payment terms and conditions, check
the box to move to the next step.

Step 6:

If your choice is core banking method for fee payment, clicking on “print
chalan” will take you to the next page.

Step 7:

Please note the fee amounts given below for the Core banking option:

General/OBC: Rs. 750 (Application fee) + Rs 25 (Bank charges) = Rs. 775 (Total).
SC/ST/PD: Rs. 350 (Application fee) + Rs. 25 (Bank charges) = Rs. 375 (Total).

Depending on your category, one of the above amounts will be printed in the chalan. You should pay
to the bank EXACTLY the amount printed in your chalan.

Step 8:

Please check the image of the chalan using print preview option as shown
above. If the print settings are not in landscape, you may see a distorted chalan
as shown below. If this is the case, please change the page mode to
“landscape”.

Step 9:

If the chalan looks as shown above, you are ready to take a print out of the
chalan. Please take this chalan to the nearest ICICI Bank branch for making
the fee payment in cash. After printing, you are advised to close the chalan
window. You can now proceed to click on “Submit Application Form” button
as shown in the next page.

Step 10:

When you click on “Submit Application Form”, you will see a warning as shown above.
Before clicking on “OK” button, make sure that you have chalan for fee payment. At this
stage if you do not have the chalan, click on “Cancel” and print the chalan.

Clicking on “OK” will generate a pdf file of your application. You may please keep this
for your record.

If you fail to save or print the pdf file of your application for reasons beyond your control,
you can still access it through the “app_status” link on JMET 2011 website after two
working days of the submission of the application fee.

Step 6a:

If your choice is Credit/Debit card method for fee payment, clicking on


“Proceed to Pay” will show the fee amount including the applicable charges as
shown below.

Step 6b:

You can now click on “Proceed to Pay” which will take you to the ICICI Bank
payment gateway for processing your payment. Please note that it is a secure
site. Make sure that you have all the details of your card to fill in on the
payment gate way page.

Step 6c:

Please ensure that you enter the required details on the above payment gateway
page correctly and carefully. If your payment is not successful, please try
again by entering the required data correctly and carefully. When you click on
“PAY” button, you will see the online payment status message as shown in
the next page.

Step 6d:

Please write down the Transaction ID for your record. You can now proceed to click on
“Submit Application Form” button. This will generate a pdf file of your application for your
records. This is the end of your application process.

If you fail to save or print the pdf file of your application for reasons beyond your control, you
can still access it through the “app_status” link on JMET 2011 website after two working days
of the submission of the application fee.

If your online payment is not successful, you may see one of the following messages and you
may do as suggested below.
• Your payment is unsuccessful and please contact your credit/debit card issuing bank.
• Your payment is unsuccessful and rejected by the payment gateway. Please try again
later.
