January 2016 May 2016: Montara Avenue Elementary School, LAUSD Student Teacher Dual Immersion Kindergarten and 5 th Grade In Kindergarten:

-provided meaningful instruction in English/Spanish language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies -collaborated with the master teacher and other grade level teachers to prepare lesson plans -created a math unit that met the Common Core State Standards, provided vocabulary charts as support, and created clear lesson objectives -conducted small group guided reading in Spanish and English In 5 th Grade:
