Roadtripping
Picking up our leased
missionary van meant a
massive road trip that began
about a day and a half after we
landed in North Dakota. By
the Lord’s prompting we took
three weeks as a family of four
to readjust to American
culture, to paved roads where
we drive on the right-hand
side at really fast speeds and

What happens next?

A Financial Update
During our furlough year we will remain
dependent on partnerships to meet our
monthly budget established by Wycliffe.
While we are in the U.S. through July of next
year, we are experiencing an average
shortfall of $2400 a month. The amount
Wycliffe distributes to each ministry in a
given month may fluctuate since Wycliffe
member compensation is paid from
receipted funds each month. We continue to
trust in the Lord for His moment by moment
provisions .
Now that we have almost settled into our furlough home in
Lynchburg, life should begin to fall into a steady rhythm. Jade will
begin eighth grade at Sandusky Middle School and Tia will (finally!)
be back in Lynchburg after completing her summer job in NC.
Miriam and Tia will move into their dorm at Liberty and Marty will
continue to occupy a good bit of his time doing online coursework
towards ordination. Taylor is studying while she waits for her
NCLEX exam date in order begin practicing as a RN. We continue
to try and catch up on the needed medical and dental care. As these
things happen, we will also begin to fill our calendar with once a
month weekend trips to share
with partners and churches in
the Carolinas. Most
importantly we will be a whole
family, rest and heal! Thank you

continue to readjust home-on-
this-side-of-the-world.
