Something was surprised me was Resistant capital. Definition of resistant capital is Knowledge
and skills credited through opposition be
havior to challenge inequality.
● Cultural wealth is granted in the legacy of resistance to subordination.
Example: community of color: I just want to share a little bit about this what happened in my
country about community of color. In my country for long time ago people from Belgium they
came and they control my country they made slaves and they took all of in Congo they beat
people for no reason people try to stop it by giving speech and community came Together and
they send back all they Belgium. Years late when Belgium left Congolese people there were no
happy because in Congo they have types of people because when Belgium came they
measured all people and they found types of people Tusi and Hutu. Hutu’s didn’t like Tusi’s they
try to kill all Tusi but some Tusi they try to skip to different places but they kill hundreds of Tusi’s
but Government try to stop it but I’m not sure if is end.
Significance: To show that society has standards that you don’t have to follow and to protect
yourself from dieng appressas. Commented [1]: Mapenzi, this sounds like an
excellent topic for your personal statement
We also learned about Navigation Capital:

Definition: The ability to adapt and persist in social organization, events and
establishments.

instrumental and emotional support to navigate you through society instrumentals.
Significance: The people of color we Social Capital by using the information they give back to
their social network.

employment and care.
