Enterprise Risk Management

1. Aims

This 2-day program aims at providing the participants skills to identify potential
risks in all areas.

2. Objectives

By the end of the program, participants are targeted to learn and apply:

 Improved profitability and performance


 Raise the awareness level of attendees on both enterprise risk management and
business continuity management
 Encouraged and motivated to do risk assessment and committed to mitigate the
risks
 A comprehensive view of risks and controls throughout the organisation
 Risk-based management of resources and capital
 Understand the Business Impact analysis
 To be able to manage the crisis based on the crisis management plan
 To be able to define the potential risks to the continuity
 Enhanced dialogue with rating agencies and regulators
 Greater integration of governance, risk and compliance

 Describing and evaluating opportunity risk
o Outline of the business continuity lifecycle
 Business Impact Analysis – identifying critical processes
o Exercise - identifying critical activities and people
 The Business Continuity Plans
 Roles within the BCP
 Planning to deal with an emergency and its aftermath
 Planning to get back to business
 Action Planning

4. Training Methodology

A range of training methods will be used to make this workshop an interesting,


enjoyable and productive experience for all participants. These methods will include
short lectures and presentations, case studies, individual and group activities, Role-
Play, Case Scenario Analysis and group discussions. Active participation will be
encouraged throughout the programme.

5. Duration & dates

The duration of this programme is 2 days each group

6. Number of participants

The number of participants for this programme will be 15-25

7. Language

The program will be delivered in English language. It is therefore expected that all
candidates will have a good level of English.

8. Timing

The training timing is from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm with two breaks. However, the
company may alter the timings as per their training schedule.
