Principals are requested to make necessary arrangements to inform the respective students and 
staff. As far as Practical Examinations are concerned, candidates are instructed to keep in touch with the 
Principal of the respective Colleges for the exact schedule and slots. 
               The Principals are requested to contact the respective Zonal offices for the Practical Examination

1.  The  Instructions  for  online  registration  for  examination  and  payment  of  examination  fee  is 
enclosed.  
 
2. Details of Examination Fee  
 
UG Degree Courses  
 For Regular & Arrear Theory papers      Rs. 100 per theory paper 
For Regular & Arrear Laboratory Courses       Rs. 100 per practical 
PG Degree Courses  
 For Regular & Arrear Theory papers      Rs. 300 per theory paper 
For Regular & Arrear Laboratory Courses       Rs. 300 per practical 
 
Fee for ENGINEERING PRACTICES LABORATORY  Rs.200 for each student. 
Fee for Physics & Chemistry Laboratory    Rs.200 for each student. 
Fee for Engineering Graphics        Rs.200 (Rs.100 for Theory and Rs.100 for Practical Mode) 
Fee for EBEK(Technical English­I) Examination   Rs.400 for each student. 
Fee for Online Registration and Statement of Marks  Rs. 100 per semester for each student. 
Fee for conduct of Audit        Rs. 100 per semester for each student. 
 
3. DOTE Approval. 
Principals  are  requested  to  ensure  that  only  DOTE  approved  I  semester  students  (for  whom 
approval  from  the  DOTE  is  required)  are  eligible  to  register  for  the  Examinations  commencing  from 
02.01.2010.  
 
4. Attendance Eligibility for writing the Examinations  
• 100% overall attendance is normally expected from each student 
• Students with Overall attendance 75% to 100% are eligible  
• Students with 65% to 75% are eligible only on genuine medical reasons and with the 
recommendations of the Principals  along with a condonation fee Rs. 1000 and 
subsequent approval by “COE and VC” 
• Students with an overall attendance percentage of below 65 are not eligible under any 
circumstances.  
 
5. Online registration and payment of Examination Fee. 
    Commencement date     : 22 DEC 2009 
Last date       : 24 DEC 2009 
Online registration and payment of Examination Fee after the last date will not be 
entertained and will be summarily rejected.

6. Remittance of the Examination Fee collected by College: 
A single demand draft for the total fee collected from all the students drawn in favour of the   “The 
Controller  of  Examinations,  Anna  University  Coimbatore”  payable  at  Coimbatore  may  be  sent  along 
with Detailed Statement of Examination Fee (DSEF), Consolidated Statement of Examination Fee (CSEF). 
and  Additional  Student  Examination  Fee  (ASEF)  if  any  to  the  controller  of  Examinations  on  or  before 
30Dec 2009.  The   printout of consolidated statement of examination fee (CSEF) may be taken from the 
User ID of Principal or EMS Coordinator after updating all the details by the Technical Representative of 
M/s Mindlogicx. Principals are requested to adhere to the above schedule and delayed payment will not be 
accepted.  
 
 
7. No Payment of Exam Fee by the student at University 
Principals  are  requested  not  to  send  the  students  to  the  University  for  the  payment  of 
examination    fee.  Individual demand draft from the students will not be accepted.  
Principals  are  also  requested  to  ensure  that  all  candidates  who  have  paid  the  examination  fee 
have registered through online mode before sending the Demand Draft to University. Hall tickets will not 
be issued to the candidates who are not registered through online mode for the examinations even though 
they have paid the examination fee. 
Note: The hall tickets will be generated only after the receipt of the Exam FEES from the respective  
            Institutions.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ONLINE RIGISTRATION AND PAYMENT OF FEE FOR EXAMINATIONS 
 
1.The soft copy of the programme wise Detailed Statement of Examination Fee (DSEF) shall be downloaded 
by the Technical Representative of M/s Mindlogicx and then handed over to the Institution. 
 
2.The course code of the subjects, the total number of subjects for which the candidate has to appear for 
the forthcoming regular and arrear semester examinations and the corresponding examination fee are 
printed for each candidate against the register number. 
 
3.Necessary  arrangements  shall  be  made  for  the  students  to  verify  the  course  code  of  the  subjects 
individually for which they have to appear for the forthcoming semester examinations through Head 
of the Department and Faculty advisors. 
 
 
4.In  case  of  the  candidates  who  fall  under  the  Discontinued/Transferred/Long  Absent/Not  eligible 
category,  the  register  number  of  such  candidates  may  be  encircled  in  red  ink  and  the  fee  may  be 
modified accordingly.  
 
5.In case any of the student register number of the eligible candidate is missing in the DSEF printout, the 
same may be entered in the Additional students Examination Fee (ASEF) format and send it along with 
the demand draft. Principals are requested to take at most care in filling up the format so that only 
eligible candidates register number missing in the DSEF format are entered in the ASEF format. 
 
 
6.The total examination fee at the end of the statement shall be modified according to the modifications 
carried out and the DSEF format may be handed over to the Technical representative of Mindlogicx for 
updating in the EMS. 
 
7.The updated DSEF format (Print out) shall be collected from the Technical representative of Mindlogicx 
and verification may be carried out whether the corrections/modifications have been incorporated in 
the new printout. 
 
 
8.After  ensuring  that  all  the  corrections  are  incorporated,  the  Consolidated  Statement  of  Examination 
Fee (CSEF) may be printed from EMS and send the following to The Controller of Examinations, Anna 
University Coimbatore before last date. 
 
i. Detailed Statement of Examination Fee (DSEF) format 
ii. Consolidated Statement of Examination Fee (CSEF) format 
iii. Additional students examination Fee (ASEF) format 
iv. A single Demand draft for the examination fee collected.
