AMDM - Math in My Future Project

OBJECTIVE: Determine the math requirements, training, and cost for the career of your choice.

TASK: You are to research all the key components in perusing the career of your choice. Most research can be done
online. You will document all of the following in a PowerPoint/Prezi that you will present to the class.

a) Do you have to have a diploma or a GED to enlist in the military?(1 pt)

b) What do you have to do to enlist? Is there anything that will exclude you from enlisting? (1 pt)

c) Determine the requirements for the ASVAB and the requirements for your preferred MOS. (2 pts)

d) Once you have entered the military and finished basic what training does your preferred MOS require?
Be specific about the topics of study. (3 pts)

e) At the end of your training/certification process, do they provide you with a job? (1 pt)

f) Does this course match any of the topics in this AMDM course: statistics, mathematical models, finance,
etc? Please be sure to be detailed in your findings. (3 pts)
