8:45 am course tours be completed by this time, course closes.
8:45 am Coaches Meeting at the Finish Line
9:20 am Junior High Girls report to the start line
9:30 am Junior High Girls Race
10:00 am High School Coaches Meeting if you did not attend 8:45 meeting.
10:10 am * Junior High Boys Race
10:40 am * Varsity Girls Race
11:15 am* Varsity Boys Race
Awards will be 10 minutes after the final race
* race will begin approximately 5 minutes after the last finisher in the race prior

Course Walks
It is preferred that course walks be completed by 8:45 am. HS athletes should take great care
as to not interfere with the Junior High competitors as they walk the course if they do so after
8:45 am. They should walk along the right side 2 abreast at most to allow the Junior High
runners the bulk of the course to compete on.

Facilities and Misc.

See ​www.blueriver.com​ for maps and parking for spectators. Directions for spectators and
buses are on the last page, please share with all spectators.
- Print course maps to bring with you, none provided on site
- Team camps will be set up closest to the fairgrounds across the gully from the finish,
along the gravel path on the gully side or up closer to the parking lot. NO VEHICLES
shall drive beyond the parking lot unless meet personnel.
- Awards area will be the grassy area north of the finish (no team camps here) or the
gulley.
- A shelter house is available to rent. Contact Shelbyville Park and Rec. 317-392-5128.
- Splash pad may be available, remind athletes NO SPIKES and it’s family area.
- Teams should bring water/drink, cups, ice, bags for their athletes.
- Restrooms for spectators and athletes are available in the permanent buildings. Athletes
may also use port-o-pots located near the start line or finish.
- NO PETS!!!!​ Please tell your parents/spectators in advance.
- Buses/vans will enter and exit via the Shelby County Fairgrounds, dropping the athletes
off at the gravel path leading to the park.

Awards: ​Varsity and Junior High : Winning teams, boys and girls, will receive a team trophy and
7 team ribbons.

Top Varsity and Junior High Individual will receive a plaque

2nd-30th will receive ribbons at the varsity level
1st-4th Teams will receive ribbons at the varsity level 1st also will get a team trophy
2nd-20th individuals will receive ribbons at the junior high level
1st-3rd will receive ribbons at the junior high level 1st also will get a team trophy

Merchandise will be sold!

Important Information to share with parents/Spectators/bus drivers ahead of time.

- Admission Fee is $5.00 per car

- Parking will be available around the splash pad building and softball diamonds
- Buses will drop athletes off at the Fairgrounds at the path, athletes will walk through the
path to the park. Spectators will not be allowed to park at the fairgrounds.
- No pets are allowed!!
- Spectators will not be allowed inside the fence or finish chute for any reason.
- Concessions​ will be provided by the Southwestern Track team.
- Team camps will be in the grassy area across the gulley from the finish area.
- Only meet personnel will be allowed to drive vehicles beyond the parking lot.
