trainee or learner was his sister’s son,
Perdix.
3. Perdix’s ingenuity, that is, skill or
cleverness in inventing something has led
him to inventing the saw and a pair of
compasses.
4. King Minos, enraged at the loss of his
daughter, not to mention the killing of his
pet Minotaur, shut Daedalus and his son
Icarus into the Labyrinth.
5. Icarus’s exhilaration with the thrill of
flying is same as a child having his dream
toy for the first time.
