Business or Mission Analysis Process

• Purpose

– The problems and business opportunity Define the business or mission problem or opportunity :

Problems : High-rate of crime activity in Jakarta that always make people uneasy for focusing on what they want to do

Lack of services that provide trusted and reliable housing securitin Jakarta, especially for the temporary one
when holiday arrives.

The difficulty for people to request a service to secure their house in any moment of time.

Opportunity : The recent advancement of technology that make it possible to create such a system

The existence of people who would appreciate and utilize our service
– Characterize the solution space, and (Quality Time Cost) :

Solution space : to provide security in our customer’s home and facilitate them in additional service

Mission: To provide the best housing system for Indonesian people who live in urban areas.

To be trusted and relied by the customer.

To be acknowledged by the people of Indonesia as a good agent for providing housing security service.

QTC : Quality: Good -> Easy access for people

Cost -> Less cost because of partnership and the service of temporary usage

time -> Less time, with a flick of finger, every request could be ordered
– Determine potential solution class(es) that could address a problem or take advantage of an opportunity.

• Initiates the life cycle of the system of interest (SOI) by:

Concept : Research the problems, the business opportunity, the market, and their’s viability to be realized

Development : Bring the result of the research conducted in the concept stage to be more detailed and

prepare to realize it

Production : Start to provide the service to the people. Expand the influences of the company

Utilization : Open for feedback from all stockholders, fix all the initial problems that happenned after the

product is released, until the service could satisfied the expectations

Support : to mantain the good work and always improving in general

Retirement : to ensure that the company is closed due to the reason of better causes and reasons
Defining the problem domain : In the gated communities (perumahan) inside the urban areas in Jakarta

– Identifying major stakeholders : Custumer; investor, android application’s

Based on the exploratory research result, the costumer that will probably using the services is among the employee.

4.2 Stakeholder Needs and Requirements Definition Process
Inputs

– Source documents - External documents relevant to the particular stage of

procurement activity for the system of interest.

• Includes the written directives embodied in the source documents relevant to


organizational strategies

and policies.

– Project constraints - Any constraints on the system arising from the technical

management strategy including cost, schedule, and technical constraints.

– Problem or opportunity statement - Description of the problem or opportunity.

• Should be derived from the organization strategy and provide enough detail to

understand the gap or new capability that is being considered.

– Business requirements - Definition of the business framework within which

stakeholders will define their requirements.

• Business requirements govern the project, including agreement constraints,

• Define the information needs of the decision makers with respect to system

effectiveness to meet operational expectations.

• Determine the stakeholders or classes of stake holders who will participate

with systems engineering to develop and define the stakeholder needs and
