Artifact #2: Weebly Website

Artifact #2 is the Weebly Website created by the candidate. Including this artifact

showcases several competencies as a professional educator such as integrating technology and

ability to collaborate with students and parents. The candidate has opportunity to share a digital

representation of what the class is learning about with parents and family. Students and parents

can use this website for additional support and resources provided by the teacher. Utilizing a

Weebly website also shows evidence of the candidate’s ability to stay up to date with current

research and technology trends. This artifact makes connections with several educational

standards, which are listed in detail below.

InTASC Standards
Standard #10: Leadership and Collaboration: The teacher seeks appropriate leadership roles and
opportunities to take responsibility for student learning, to collaborate with learners, families,
colleagues, other school professionals, and community members to ensure learner growth, and to
advance the profession.

NYS Code of Ethics for Teachers

Principle 5: Educators collaborate with parents and community, building trust and
