LESSON 1
- Analyze the song (Tell Laura I Love Her)
Song is a short poem or other set of words set to music or meant to be sung.
In this lesson I tried to analyze the contents of a song like the theme, genre, profile
and background of the song.
- Complete the song lyrics.
By completing the song lyrics then it will be easier for me in understanding the song
contents.
- Interpreting the song contents into a story.
I used the narrative text in making the story.
Narrative text is a kind of text to retell the story that past.
(Generic structure; Orientation, Complication, and Resolution)

LESSON 2
- Analyze the song (Tell Tommy I Miss Him)
In this lesson related to the previous song lesson. Analyzing this song is easier
because this song is the answer of the previous song (Tell Laura I Love Her).
- Complete the song lyrics
By completing the song lyrics is will make me easier understanding the song
contents.
- Interpreting the song content into a story.
I used the narrative text in making the story.
- Created a diary related to the song
In this lesson I was forced to be or be in Laura's position because it could make the
diary more meaningful and real.

LESSON 3
- Make a poem or poetry
Poem is a piece of writing in which the expression of feelings and ideas is given
intensity by particular attention to diction (sometimes involving rhyme), rhythm,
and imagery.
In this lesson I learned to make my own poetry. The poem was read in front of the
class and accompanied by an instrument song. Read in a group.

LESSON 4
- Analyze the song (Nobody’s Child)
In this lesson I tried to analyze the contents of a song like the theme, genre, profile
and background of the song.
- Interpreting the song content into a picture.
In interpreting the songs I draw a picture relating to the song. The picture is divided
into several parts according to the story line of the song.
- Create a video related to the song.
The purpose of this videos is to make it as a music video. Students are divided into
4 groups and create video according to each group version. The video must be related
with the storyline of the song.
