Brief Lesson Plan in Mathematics VI

I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:
1. Identify the different spatial figures;
2. Visualize and describe the different spatial figures;
3. Illustrate the different spatial figures using various concrete and pictorial
models; and
4. Appreciate various spatial figures in the environment.

II. SUBJECT MATTER

Topic: Spatial Figures

Materials:
- Concrete and pictorial models of spatial figure
- Charts
Values to be integrated:
- Appreciation of various spatial figures in the environment.

III. PROCEDURE
A. Classroom Management
1. Greetings
2. Prayer
3. Checking of attendance

B. Drill
1. The teacher will group the pupils in three. They will instruct to arrange cut-outs
pictures.

C. Review
Past lesson (Plane figures)

D. Motivation
1. The teacher will choose three students to join her to buy three items and describe
the figure that they will get from the box.

E. Presentation
1. The teacher will discuss the difference between plane figures and spatial figures.
2. The teacher will discuss the different kinds of spatial figures.
F. Application
1. The teacher will divide the class into two groups. Each Group will give examples
of actual object that shows spatial figures that they can see in the environment.

G. Generalization
1. The teacher will ask again what are spatial figures and the different kinds of
spatial figure.
