Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) seeks an experienced professional to

1. Establish a strategic and systematic focus on closing six- and seven- figure
commitments from high net-worth individuals
2. Identify, cultivate, solicit and steward qualified prospects and donors
, managing a portfolio of approximately 50 qualified relationships sourced from
4-6 Cabinet members
3. Meet or exceed multi-million dollar annual revenue goals
Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Campaigns, the CDO will have access to
a full spectrum of administrative and development services professionals.
Responsibilities
1. Identify, cultivate, solicit, steward and retain qualified prospects and
donors, managing a portfolio of approximately 50 qualified relationships , and
applying a moves management approach to the portfolio
2. Annually negotiate and close six figure gifts and multi-year commitments
, and meet multi-million dollar annual revenue goals
3. Routinely engage Cabinet members, organization executives and current do
nors in peer-prospect identification, visits, and six figure closings
4. Routinely network with Fortune 500 executives in major metropolitan area
s, and interact with high-net worth individuals ($25M+ in net assets) for the pu
rpose of cultivating personal relationships and developing personal giving, and
collaborate with colleagues when corporate giving interests are expressed
5. Work collaboratively with colleagues to analyze portfolios and strategiz
e upgrades, and with Corporate Programs colleagues to cultivate individual gifts
from corporate partner executives
6. Demonstrate a keen sense of curiosity for donors â seeking to â crack the codeâ
at compels each donor to give substantially by asking the right questions â and able
to personally adapt as needed to meet the needs of donors
7.Successfully align partner interests with HFHIâ s strategy and demonstrate a strong
value proposition
8.Convincingly articulate the unique selling proposition
9. Guide the development of compelling proposals and oversee the developmen
t of creative presentations and reports
10. Close complex sales such as Diaspora gifts, campaign and endowment gifts
, planned gifts, and investment and financial products
11.Provide accurate and timely activity and pipeline reports and revenue forecas
ts
12.Effectively manage HFHI resources including travel and business expenses
HFHIâ s mission is to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and
to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat for Humanity I
nternational has an Operational Headquarters in Americus, Georgia and an Adminis
trative Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, where our employees build futures and
lives.

The ideal candidate will have at least ten years of front-line experience in fun
d development management, capital campaign leadership and/or fund-raising in a l
arge, complex, multi-national non-profit setting. Experience in international de
velopment or relief is preferred, along with a demonstrated passion for the miss
ion of Habitat for Humanity.
