Read the passage and complete the following task.

Malaysia is a cosmopolitan country that is rich with its tradition and culture. The tourism
industry is one of Malaysia’s major sources revenue. In order to woo the local and foreign
tourists, steps must be taken to attract them to visit Malaysia.
Firstly, the Malaysian government is trying to put Malaysia on the world map. This is
carried out by organizing travel fairs to promote Malaysia. During the Matta Fair, almost every
state in Malaysia were advertised and promoted. Besides that, the local government hopes to
promote its culture and tradition. Malaysians from all walks of life and backgrounds practice
different beliefs. They celebrate many festivals such as Hari Raya Puasa, Chinese New Year,
Christmas and Thaipusam. Each race celebrates their festive occasions in a grand, unique way.
There are many varieties of food that tourists can get to taste in Malaysia. These foods
ranged from sweet to spicy dishes and reflect the different lifestyles and races in the country. The
Malays prefer spicy and sour dishes while the Chinese prefer to eat steamed food. Indians like to
take in spicy food cooked with many kinds of herbs and spices. The varieties of food can be a
great source of attraction to the tourists who would like to try the local delicacies of the different
races in Malaysia.
The different lifestyles of the local people are rather unique. We have people living in the
cities and rural villages. The different types of homes can attract visitors to Malaysia as the
buildings have special architectural designs. Malaysians are humble and friendly people. They
are also helpful. With these qualities, tourists will be attracted to visit Malaysia.

Write a summary on the ways to attract tourists to Malaysia.
