Who we areLo que somos

As San Antonio’s longest standing bilingual newspaper, La Prensa has a reputa-

tion for promoting positive news. The Hispanic culture is a large influence in San
Antonio and we pride ourselves in producing an informative product that embodies
the English and Spanish duality that is San Antonio.

“Keep it local, keep it positive, somos bilingual!” As a bilingual company, it is

crucial we produce and provide content in two languages. Our main focus is not
only to cover main news, but also many small local events happening around the
San Antonio area. While in current media there is always a mixture of negative and
positive news, here at La Prensa we strive to publish positive news; stories that reflect
our great city and the people who make it better.

Because we are commited to educating, informing, and inspiring the community we

serve, La Prensa is a free publication. La Prensa can be found at these participating
locations:

Sales Policies
La Prensa de San Antonio has always been a family business.

We recently merged with HeartFire Media, a creative media and

marketing company in San Antonio. This launched La Prensa into the
21st century as we take on new capabilities to benefit our advertisers.
La Prensa now has much more to offer while still retaining our core
values and unique qualities as the only bilingual newspaper in San
Antonio.

Our website offers an array of digital advertising capabilites as well as

production of full marketing campaigns, this is in addition to tradi-
tional print advertising.

Our sales policies require 50% of every advertisement to be paid

upfront to ensure the benefit of both parties for services provided.
Alternatively, a credit card may be placed on file with an established
charge date agreed upon by both parties (no later than 30 days).

Other policies include:

• All advertising campaigns under $1,000 must be paid upfront and
in full by cash/credit, or payment by check must be received within 10
business days.

• All advertising campaigns over $1,000 require 50% of the total

cost be paid upfront, and the remainder must be paid within 30 days.
We are happy to instate weekly payment plans for those who need
them.
