Car parking spaces are provided in front

and at the side of the Training Centre,
however visitors are requested not to park
in the first two bays, which are for Borough
and Training Centre staff only.

TRAVELLING BY TRAIN
Training Centre is located approximately 5
minutes by road and 20 minutes walk from
the two major Manchester railway stations.
Taxi ranks are located outside each station
concourse.

Road Routes into Central

Central Manchester Manchester

FROM THE NORTH
Leave the M6 at Junction 30 signposted M61 Manchester. Continue
along the M61, at Junction 3 follow the signposts for ‘Manchester
A580’. After 2 miles, the A580 becomes the A6. Follow signs for
Salford and Manchester. At Salford sign take one of the outer two
lanes A6 Manchester. Continue past University of Salford (on left) and
Salford Cathedral (on left) to next set of traffic lights. Turn left onto
Trinity Way and follow signs to Ring Road, Leeds M60. Go through
traffic lights with MEN Arena on right. At T junction (Cheetham Hill
Road) turn right at signs to University, Piccadilly & Victoria Stations. Go
through the lights and pass the CIS Building on right and at the next
lights turn left (signposted Middleton & Harpurhey). Go through to 2nd
set of lights and turn right with signs to Leeds, Rochdale & Oldham
(Thompson Street), after the fire station turn left into Cassidy Close.
The Training Centre is the second left.
FROM THE SOUTH
Leave the M6 at Junction 19 and take the A556 following the signs
for Manchester (M56). At the large roundabout join the M56 at
Junction 7 signposted to Manchester. Follow the signs for Ring Road
(S & E) and Stockport. Once on the M60 follow signs for Ring Road (E
& N) and then Ring Road (N & W). Leave the M60 at Junction 22 and
take the A62 towards Manchester City Centre. After approximately
4.4 miles look out for the red brick Royal Mail Sorting Office and Wing
Yip Supermarket (Glamorous Restaurant) on the right hand side. Turn
right at the next set of traffic lights and then first right into Cassidy
Close. The Training Centre is the second left.
FROM THE EAST & WEST
Leave the M62 at Junction 18 and follow onto M60 Ring Road (East
and South). Turn off at Junction 20 (A664 Middleton & Blackley) and
turn right onto A664 (Rochdale Road). Follow for approximately 3.5
miles past Collyhurst Police Station (on right) and Public Car Park (on
left). At the next set of traffic lights (signposted Ardwick 1 mile) turn left
onto Thompson Street and first left onto Cassidy Close. The Training
Centre is the second left.
