Theoretical concepts taught and discussed in the
classroom prove useful if they have to remain relevant. Practice
orientation of management student is must generating
competence to deal with issues at grass root level it is for this
reason that six week Training project study is prescribed as a
part of syllabus for MBA Degree in KrantiguruShyamji Krishna
Varma ± Kachchh University.
This training is the mode of imparting practical training to
the student. The objective is to provide a deep insight into
practical aspects of the functioning of the organization. The
train apprises the student to the actual function, responsibility
and problem faced by an organization. It provides him with the
knowledge of the various kind of problem that crop up in the
day to day functioning of the organization .The way they are
solved by the departments and appraisal of the crucial decision
taken by the manager at the crucial time.
I was fortunate enough to complete my Marketing as well
as Human Resource Training at VARMORA GranitoPvt
Ltd.This has given me an altogether new experience, which
would be immense help to me in my days to come.
This report is outcome of what I had learnt and watched
during my training in the company.

At the successful completion of my internship study, I

VARMORA Granito Pvt. Limited.

Faculty members of Department of commerce and
management (KSKV) for helping me in various aspects of the
study.
I am deeply indebted to Mr. Pradip Patel (GM, VGPL)
having given me an opportunity and guidance, invaluable help
and cooperation to successfully complete this project.

VARMORA Granito Pvt. Limited for their friendly nature and

The internship study is done at VARMORA Granito Pvt.


Ltd (Dhuva ± Morbi); the mainobjective behind the study is to
do market analysis of Indian tile Industry as well as to study the
importance of Employee Satisfaction in an Organization.
VGPL commenced its business in the year 1992 promoted
by Mr. BhaveshVarmora.
Its main corporate branch is situated in Mumbai and has
several show rooms all over India (Ahmedabad, Mumbai«Etc).
VGPL is having four functional departments viz.
i Finance,
i Production,
i Marketing,
i R&D
i HR
All the departments are handled by qualified professionals
who are answerable to the chairman; they work as per the
mission of the company. All the departments work with great
coordination with definite plans and policies laid down by the
top management.
I did my microscopic study in the Marketing as well as
Human Resource Department; here the main objective was to
scrutinize the Indian Tile Industry and to study the importance
of employee satisfaction in an Organization.
