As I m entioned in the last ar ticle, figur ing out batter s
can som etim es be tough. The fir st thing that should be done
is in the fir st 2 at bats, pitch them outside, and see if they?r e
w illing to go the other w ay w ith their hitting (?going the
other w ay? is w hen the batter is a r ighty and they hit to r ight
field, or if they?r e a lefty and hit to left field). This is
im por tant, because if they ar e hitter s that go the other w ay,
then the pitcher can pitch them in, and if they ar e a dead
pull hitter (a hitter that pulls anything and isn?t w illing to hit
the ball to the opposite field [see definition above.]), the
pitcher can and w ill thr ow outside to the hitter , m aking it
har der for each type to m ake solid contact.
Another factor is w hether the hitter is gear ed up for a
fastball all the tim e or if they ar e w illing to hold back and
take a offspeed pitch (pitch other than a fastball, usually
slow er ) the other w ay. By finding this out, the pitcher can
m ake the batter off-balance w hen sw inging at a pitch, and
that can m ake a pr etty dar n ugly sw ing on the cam er as.

Befor e I begin I w ant to state
one thing. I do like Fortnite. This
ar ticle defends Fortnite against all
the hate fr om New s Show s and
people have been putting on the
gam e Fortnite.
New s, w ebsites, and ever ything
on social m edia, has been saying
how Fortnite is such a bad thing for
the m inds of childr en. Som e people
even saying it is a cause of school
shooting. And it has been labeled as
bad for kids. But is it? Fortnite the
gam e is a thir d per son shooter (if
you ar e one of the few w ho don't
know about Fortnite) and the point
of the gam e is to kill ever yone else
and get the Num ber 1 Victor y
Royale. Sounds bad, because if
you'r e shooting and killing other
people w ouldn?t that send a bad
m essage to the m inds of childr en
and teens. But w hat if Fortnite helps.
Fortnite the gam e encour ages
team w or k, because unless you?r e
doing a Solo m atch ever y other gam e
has you playing w ith som eone else.
If you don?t w or k w ell w ith other s
Fortnite can help you, because to do
w ell, you m ust w or k together , w ith
either one other per son, thr ee other
people, or even 50! So if you have
issues w ith com m unication w ith
other s and you don't w or k w ell w ith
other s Fortnite is a good gam e for

Another w ay that Fortnite can
help is by encour aging shy people to
m ake fr iends. It's har d for m ost shy
people to talk to other s and be w ith
other s but w hen playing Fortnite
you?r e just talking to other s, not
actually physically w ith them . This
helps shy people build r elationships,
even if its not face to face.
That's w hy I think Fortnite
helps. Even though it can still have
som e negative effects on the m inds
of childr en, like being extr em ely
addictive, I think it can still help
som e shy and even som e unshy kids.
