ACTIVITIES: I. PRE-LESSON Respect
- In groups, elicit what students know about Appreciation
superheroes.
- Students name the superheroes and their
superpowers in a worksheet.
II. LESSON
- In groups, students list characteristics of a hero –
bubble map.
- Share answers with the whole class.
- Recite poem – individually / whole class.
- Students identify the persona’s father’s
characteristics that show he is a hero to the
persona.
- Share answers with the whole class.
- Identify the hero’s weakness and share answer with
the whole class.
III. POST-LESSON
- Elicit what they have learnt from the poem.
- Assign them the homework.
