A PEACEFUL SOCIETY: People living in peaceful societies try as

much as possible to live in harmony and avoid violence: they shun

aggressive behavior and refuse to fight in wars. In fact, avoiding
violence—and perhaps just as critically, thinking and feeling that they
must avoid it—is not only essential to many of these peoples, it is
defining for them. Several of these societies see themselves as
peaceful, and they clearly take pride in that peacefulness. For some of
these peoples, their attitude is a striking contrast, in their minds, to
other, manifestly less peaceful, societies with which they come in
contact. For these nonviolent peoples, their very sense of defining
themselves as peaceful is the foundation of their worldviews. Building
interpersonal harmony and avoiding violence is essential to their ways
of life.

Non Peacful Society

Without peace, there would likely be chaos, anarchy, power struggles,

and war. There will always be groups who will attempt to re-establish
order, civility, and righteousness in humanity.

War, violence and high levels of crime affect over 1.5 billion people in
the world today, destroying communities and unravelling years of social
and economic development. Countries in conflict face far higher levels
of undernourishment, educational deficits, child mortality, single
female-headed households with young children, as well as lack safe
drinking water and basic sanitation. According to the World Bank, only
about 20 percent of fragile and conflict-affected countries are meeting
the MDG poverty target. The MDGs’ failures show we cannot achieve
sustainable development where there is no peace and stability, as
conflict and violence are widely recognized as the number one obstacle
to achieving them.

Peaceful Society Reflection

“Set peace in your mind as your highest goal, and organize your
life around it”- Brian Tracy
What will happen to the society when it’s at peace? Well most
likely, they will live in a harmony and free from violence life. People will
be living peacefully that the right word. But a peaceful society doesn’t
have a peaceful society from the start. It started by empowering the
community about peace. And it’s not easy as it seems when it lacks
from their mind and heart what is the real meaning of peace. It starts
with ourselves. As stated you cannot tell others what not to do when
you yourself is doing it too. And when people from the community get
to know the true meaning of peace, they can apply it to themselves
and others and make the most of it.

Many of the peaceful society have their own political leaders that
guide them to their community, but surprisingly they tend to not glorify
the leadership. Their leadership differs from others compare to the
some world leaders. Peaceful society have a social patterns that foster
and reinforce nonviolence. People are no perfect so some of the
people of the peaceful community commits a crime. So in order to
discipline them, the community implements a nonviolent punishment
that may help enforce social norms in some societies.

People living in a peaceful community shun aggressive behaviour

and even refuses to fight in wars. Because in fact they know what will
be the consequences of it. Most likely they will think and feel that they
must avoid it to achieve a peaceful community. By knowing how to
behave peacefully, they can apply it, do things without violence. And
can live peacefully knowing that what they do is right. And people can
communicate more, understand each other, help and educate
peacefully. The society will be peacefully developing, growing and with
unity.

Non peaceful society

“Be peaceful but always remain prepared for war” – r.h Sin
What would happens to the society if there is no peace? The first
things that pop into my mind are war, violence and crimes, if there is
no peace at the society. When there is no peace, it can results into
some devastated happenings. A non-peace society will most likely to
destroy people, family, and communities and many more. A lot of
conflicts and chaos that may results so deaths. Everyone will mostly
get affected from infants to adults. This society would be twice as
difficult to survive.

Miserable and traumatic life for everyone. It can change every

single individual’s life. There will be a lot of struggles, suffering, that
nobody has ever anticipated. Hundreds and thousands will suffer if
there will be no peace in the society. What’s more melancholic is that
leaders will fight that can results in a war. Comparing the happenings
today, peace is difficult to empower. Just a year ago, terrorist attacked
a city were lot of damaged and destroyed houses. This is one of the
reason peace is at risk. Man attacks man. Full of terror. They began
attacking people because there is no peace in their hearts. They only
want terrible things to happen.

Peace is essential in our life cause it draw us to everyone. It is

important because all our fear, are connected, despair and grudge
diminish because of peace, where love, contentment increases the
peace in our selves. However, this is something that most of all failed
to understood for years. It makes war, chaos, and misunderstanding
throughout the human history, which left our world and many more in a
pitiful emotional and physical state.
