Pet Portraits for Beginners

Time: 9 am to 3 pm (Doors open at 8:30 AM to set up)
Cost: $145 for Members, and $155 for Non-members

Lunch: Bring your own lunch … 45 minutes for lunch break

Students: 8 Maximum Ages: 18 and up

Materials: Bring your own pet photo reference or use one of Ron’s.
All supplies, colored pencils, paper and tools will be provided by the instructor.

You Will Learn:

DAY 1
How to create outline of pet and how to develop places of value
How to draw eyes, noses, and mouth area
How to create realistic ears
How to draw long fur and short tight fur
How to pick, blend and layer colors

DAY 2
You will draw the pet of your choice on 8 x 10 suede mat board

Note to Students:
Please Arrive Early for your class so the instructor may start on time. Doors open ½ hour
prior to class for you to set up. Be aware of time for lunch breaks. Always be respectful of
other students and limit interruptions during class.
