GCM Theatre’s Advertising Opportunity
Goose Creek Memorial High School’s Theatre department is committed to producing high quality theatre for the Baytown
Community. We do over 10 productions a year that involve over 340 students in our top of the line theatre facilities. We are
committed to doing professional level quality work in an educational theatre setting, and we consistently graduate out seniors to go
on to pursue theatre in college with large theatre scholarships. Our high volume of quality productions and our tiny educational
budget requires us to seek advertising assistance. Because it is very important that we offer a great value for underwriting, here are
some details about our program:

1. There will be 11 productions this year with 30 performances including:

a. “Mary Poppins”- A children’s musical with over 50 students in the Company (8 Performances)
b. Fall Play- A classic comedy with over 25 students in the company (3 Performances)
c. Black Box Shows– 3 student-written/directed shows with 40 in the company (3 Performances Each)
d. “The 24 Hour Theatre Project”- 3 student-written/directed shows with over 100 (1 Performance)
e. UIL One Act Play- Our competition show with 24 students in the company (6 Performances)
f. Theatre Showcase- A performance of all students in the theatre program. (1 Performance)
g. The Patriot Revue- A GCM Senior-based talent show with over 200 in the company (3 Performances)
2. Our GCM Performing Arts Facility seats 1178.
3. Our ticket prices remain very low, ranging from $5-$10 per ticket, to ensure that we can provide an affordable
theatre experience for all of our members of the community.
4. With 2 full time directors and another 5 directors who assist we strive to produce quality entertainment and
learning to make our community proud.
5. With an average of 300 audience members per performance, you have the opportunity to market to at least 9,000
people at a cost as low as $0.01 per person! This exposure provides an excellent opportunity to utilize your
marketing dollars!
