READING
Dear Sir
I am writing to apply for the post of Cinema Manager, advertised in the Evening
News.
As you can see from my CV, which I have enclosed, I have worked in restaurants
and bars in my own country. I have also worked as an Assistant Manager in a
cinema. I believe that I have the experience of working in different parts of the
entertainment industry. I feel that now is the right time for me to move on to a more
senior management role. I am a hard-working, well organised person who gets on
well with people and I feel these are important qualities for someone in this job.
I am particularly interested in this job because of my educational background. You
will see from my CV that I studied Film and Media at university, where my specialism
was European Cinema.
I look forward to hearing from you
Yours faithfully
Jose Ferreira
