CAREER OPPORTUNITIES FOR MBBS DOCTORS ON CONTRACT BASIS
Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department, Government of the Punjab intends to revamp the Emergency Sections of 25 District Headquarter
Hospitals and 15 Tehsil Headquarter Hospitals of Punjab in current financial year 2016-17. The P&SH Department, therefore, invites applications
from qualified and experienced Doctors (Male and Female) domiciled in the Punjab on a contract basis for a period of two years. The recruitment
shall be facility specific and non-transferable.

The eligibility criteria and requisite qualification to apply for these posts is as under:

Emergency Medical Officer (EMO)* a Public Sector Teaching Hospital,

MBBS from a recognized university who have mentioned above Minimum 25 Years
* EMOs will be exempted from medico legal work. 5 years working experience in a teaching
hospital, or having postgraduate diploma in 10 in each THQ
any clinical field, with 2 years postgraduate mentioned above
experience.
General Terms and Conditions
1. The above positions are offered on contract basis for two years under the Contract Appointment Policy 2004 of the Government of the Punjab.
2. The prescribed quotas shall be applicable for the above mentioned posts: 15% for women, 5% for Minority and 3% for Disabled Persons.
3. EMOs will be exempted from medico legal work.
Procedure for submission of Application Forms
1. All Government Employees are eligible to apply.
2. In case a candidate wishes to apply for more than one post, he / she must submit separate application form for each post.
3. Interested candidates shall submit online application by filling the online application form at the following link:

4. Interview date and venue will be communicated to candidates via text messages and / or telephone / Email.
5. Attested photocopies of educational testimonials / Experience / CNIC / CV / 2 Photographs and valid PMDC registration is to be submitted at
the time of Interview.
6. Incomplete applications or applications received after close of office hours on the last date for submission of application will not be entertained.
7. Online applications complete in all respects should be submitted by 14th, March, 2017 BY 4.00 PM.
8. In case suitable candidates are not selected against any of the above mentioned post(s), the qualified candidates opting for other stations, may
be given the option to submit their revised preferences of hospitals.
9. The Shortlisted Candidates shall be called for final interview and list of selected candidates will be displayed on “pshealth.punjab.gov.pk”
and on Facebook page “Health Information & Service Delivery Unit (HISDU) of Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department.
10. No TA/DA will be admissible to candidates.
11. The candidate shall clearly mention the order of his / her preference of DHQ Hospital or THQ Hospital, however short listed candidates have
the right to alter/ modify it at the time of interview.
12. Department has the right to accept / reject or cancel any application or recruitment process.
13. No. of vacancies can also be increased / decreased / redistributed / reallocated by the competent authority without any notice.
