A Walk-in-Interview on purely temporary basis will be conducted for selection of 2 (Two) Nos. of
Laboratory Assistants and 5 (Five) Nos. of Skilled Assistants under the RKVY funded project
‘Assessment of Soil Fertility and Preparation of Soil Fertility Maps for Various Agro-Ecosystems of
Odisha’. The interview will be held at Regional Centre, ICAR - CTCRI, Dumuduma Housing Board,
Bhubaneswar, Odisha at 11.00AM on 10.08.2016.
Laboratory Assistants
No. of Positions: 2 (Two); Essential Qualification: +2 Vocational / VHSC in Agriculture/ Horticulture or
Graduates with Science discipline; Salary: Rs. 12,500/- per month (Fixed)
Desirable: Experience in handling of analytical instruments, preparation of reagents, processing of soils,
analysis of soils for chemical properties and micronutrients.
Skilled Assistants
No. of Positions: 5 (Five); Essential Qualification: +2 Vocational / VHSC in Agriculture/ Horticulture;
Salary: Rs. 11,000/- per month (Fixed);
Desirable: Experience in analysis of soils for estimation of soil physico-chemical and chemical properties.
Project duration: 1 year; Age limit: 36 years; Experience in laboratory work is preferable.
No TA/ DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
The candidates have to produce the original documents related to the proof of age, educational
qualifications, and experience at the time of interview.
The selected candidates will work under the Project Leader Dr. K. Laxminarayana, Principal
Scientist, Regional Centre, ICAR - CTCRI, Dumuduma Housing Board, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. One of
the Skilled Assistant will work under the Associated Scientist, Dr. Madhumita Das, Principal Scientist,
ICAR – Indian Institute of Water Management, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
