Symptom

The below dumps with UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION in ABAP Program

Cause

The ABAP Web service runtime is not configured in the system.

Resolution

Make sure that the SOAP runtime environment is setup in the system. This can be
tested by running the transaction SRT_ADMIN then going to "Check Technical Settings"
(or transaction SRT_TOOLS - "Check admin environment of SOAP runtime" ) for all
 clients. If it is not done, the setup has to be executed in the system to enable
asynchronous Web Services message processing.

Run the setup from the same transaction by going to "Run Technical Setup" ("Technical
configuration of SOAP runtime" in SRT_TOOLS).
