Dear Yanudin,

How are you? I hope you and your family are always in the pink. From your last
letter to me, you asked some tips for a successful interview. I was browsing through the
Internet the other day and I had come out with some amazing tips for you.

Here are some do’s that you should follow during the day of interview. The first tip
is to dress appropriately. You can wear smart casual outfit with slack but do not wear
jeans because it show that you are in an informal situation. Secondly, you must have a
high level of confidence. During the interview, although you don’t have enough
preparation but your confident will show that you own a high level of soft skills. It will
help you to get a higher mark for the intervew. Thirdly, ypu can spray some mouth
freshner. It will make your breath smell nice and the interviewer will have a comfortable
time for you. It also show that you have a neat personality.

There is a don’t that I want to share with you too which is, dont take a heavy
breakfast. The day of the interview, do not take a heavy breakfast such as nasi lemak
because you may have stomach ache and may effect the quality of your speech.

Next, the things we need to do is arrive early to the interview place as a sign off
espect to the interviewer. The best is to arrive 15 minutes before the interviewer to be
waiting for you. By that, it will reduce your time of performance and points for you
interview.

Besides, do bring all of your documents of certificates that you have for the interview
meeting. Some of the certificates could be your achievements during your previous
school. This will help you gain much better chance on getting the scholarship.Your
achivement would show your commitment and interest towards the scholarship that
you would be applying for.Always have a proper meal a day before your meeting
session. This is to make sure you have enough energy to perform in your interverview.
This is also to avoid you from becoming sick during the day of the interview.

Do not make the overconfident feeling during the interview. This is because
overconfident usually lead us to carelessness which is will make our points deducted.
You could miss some of the important points that must been shown or a brief
explanation towards the topic of the interview.

Lastly, we have to be prepared before the day of the interview day. We should
practise the real situation of an interview infront of the mirror. We could improve our
mistakes. We must make sure our shoes our polished and our attire are clean and
ironed. We must ensure that we are clean and tidy by shaving the facial hair. All the
importants files such as certificates and resume must be prepared the night before.

Moreover, we must not skip our breakfast to ensure that we are energetic and active
during our interview. For example, we can consume food rich with carbohydrate and
protein such as banana, milk and cereal. Those food could supply us more energy. If we
do not consume our breakfast, we might feel dizzy and fall asleep.

In addition, do not dare walking into the interview session with gums in your pockets.
Chewing gums during the interview will just show a sign of disrespect towards your
interviewer. Just imagine talking to someone who is chewing gum while speaking to
you. Does not that annoy you? By avoiding gums, it may help you to boost your
confidence and perhaps attract your interviewer.

Besides, I believe by showing positive attidudes will make your interview session runs
smoothly. Bear in mind to keep your phone silent so that it will not interrupt when your
interviewer is asking you some questions because it will just show that you are being
rude.

Another tips that I can tell you is please monitor your health when your interview
day is getting closer to avoid any mishaps. Plus, do not be a close minded person
because your mind is like a parachute, it only functions when its open.
Other than that, you can have a successful interview by not being panic during the
interview. If you are panic, this will lead you to do a lot of mistakes such as stuttering,
mental-breakdown and loss of ideas about what you will talk about. Will you want this
to be happen to you? Surely, you do not want this to occur during your scholarship
interview, right?

Next, the night before the interview, you must sleep early. This will ensure that your
brain and body have an enough rest. Do not play games or chat online the night before
or else your interview will be doomed. The ideal time to sleep is between 10 to 11 p.m.
Try to sleep at this time range and believe me, you will be as fresh as daisy tomorrow.

Moreover, you must pay attention toward the interviewers. This is important because
if you are distracted, you may loss your scholarship in a blink on an eye.

However, do not be ignorant about the current issues. Try to make some research
about the latest issues that happening around us. That will help you a lot during the
interview.

Yours sincerely,
