Argument
Even the most rational people buy into conspiracy theories as a way of reacting to uncertainty
and powerlessness in the modern world. We chose this theme because this subject has been
fascinated us since we were young. The subject attracted us very much because it was fed with
uncertainty form people. Everything that relates to the possibility of perceiving the existence of
something unreal, great and impossible is rejected by the minds too rational, but not by us, the
other minds that accept the idea something unusual or unobserved. Of course, there are debated
and speculative subjects, some less credible, people who choose to believe and others who not,
and for these situations there are evidence. From my point of view, any theory of a conspiracy is
"fabricated" primarily on the basis of a mysterious subject. This may be an unexpected,
incomplete or non-ubiquitous event, a phenomenon or out-of-the-way happenings, a
controversial character or community. However, other authors disdain the "conspiracy theories",
ridicule them and deny their prestige. Their defenders have been silenced by the media, though
they have, for a while, never less had an insignificant spreading in minority programs, where
they could to sketch their positions seriously. Nothing is what it seems to be! For hundreds of
years, groups of religious, political, and financial interests have been cynically manipulating us
through well-guided machinations, choking us into a huge wave of ignorance in order to prevent
us from seeing the truth. We are some slaves, some puppetry who respond to the command of
fast-paced, avid power boots who live in the shade. For hundreds of years, the world has, in fact,
been driven by the secrets of society, transnational corporations and obscure and evil
organizations. All the great events of the past from political and cultural revolutions to great
inventions and scientific achievements and even to so called natural cataclysms are their work ...
Will the truth be?

Précis
Our paper is about Conspiracy Theories. In the argument we will talk about why choose this
subject and what attracted us from this theme. The argument part is structured on our commune
interest, about why some people believe or not in those conspiracies and about on what they are
based on. In our firs chapter named “Elvis is alive?” we speak about the theory in mighty the
“King of rock n roll” is still alive in which are arguments are based on proofs. In the next
chapter, chapter two we talk about how Stonehenge wasn’t built only by people. As you already
know, Stonehenge is a huge antic building and the weight of them is very high and it couldn’t be
dragged on a simple wooden sled with the help of 200 people witch the number is obviously
estimated. And this fact leads us with the thought that might this mysterious monument was built
with some help from aliens. The chapter three is about area 51 in which
there are tested the most advanced technologies of the US Army. Area 51 has become the most
controversial military base in the world after a lot of unexplained phenomena have been reported
in the area. In the four chapter we have a very controvertible subject. The subject is about
illuminati. No one knows clearly what they are doing, what they want and what they are capable
for. The sure thing we know is that they controls us from behind.

Chapter I - Is Elvis alive?

Music legend Elvis Presley died on 16 August 1977 - or did he? If the latest conspiracy theory is
to be believed, the King of Rock and Roll faked his own death and now works as a grounds man
in Graceland. Grainy footage of a bearded man has been posted on YouTube by "The Shadow",
who claims the figure is an 81-year-old Elvis.
In the caption for the video, which has been viewed nearly 700,000 times, The Shadow writes:
"He raises his 2 fingers to the top of his left head as a proof of life signal. In Chaldean
Numerology the numerical value of V sign in Numerology is: 9. Proof of life! He told us he is
alive with the simple V sign. Number 9 'I'm Alive' He is giving us a clue that he knows we are all
there watching him and to his most loyal fans that he is indeed with us."
While some say the claims are "idiotic" and Elvis should be left to "rest in peace", the belief that
the King is out there looks unlikely to fade away. After the death of a celebrity, it is not
uncommon for rumors to circulate suggesting that the celebrity is still alive.
This can happen for several reasons: the most common is that people do not want to accept the
death of the idolized star. Another explanation is that some people look for conspiracy in every
newsworthy event.
It didn't take long for these kinds of rumors to get started about Elvis Presley. Here is some of
the most frequently cited "evidence" for suggesting that the King of Rock and Roll is still alive
On the night that Elvis died, an autopsy was performed. The medical examiner listed the
initial cause of death as "cardiac arrhythmia," which simply means the heart stopped beating.
This was true, of course, but he did not make mention of the possibility of drugs causing the
cardiac arrhythmia.
Meanwhile, pathologists from Baptist Memorial Hospital (where the autopsy was performed)
suggested that drugs had played a role in Elvis' death. The contradicting reports led some people
to believe that there was a cover-up going on.
The most likely explanation, however, is that no one wanted to tarnish the reputation of such an
adored celebrity. Furthermore, when Vernon Presley--Elvis' father--saw the entire autopsy report
including toxicology, he petitioned to have the report sealed for fifty years, reportedly to
preserve his son's reputation. In 2016, due to the seemingly large number of celebrity deaths
(Prince, David Bowie, George Michael and others) a Facebook group called "Evidence Elvis
Presley Is Alive" was created by an unknown source. The page focuses on alleged "evidence"
that Elvis faked his own death, including mostly
a) grainy photos of men in crowds that may look like Elvis or his brother, Jesse
b) scanned images of documents such as supposed lab test results, tabloid newspaper clippings,
and more.
They believe that Jesse Presley is alive, and that there is another brother, Clayton Presley, who is
also alive.
There has been no confirmation that this group, mostly followed by passionate Elvis lovers and
conspiracy theorists, has any reliable information. Even if theories of Elvis' undercover life are
not reliable, hundreds of thousands of Elvis fans and music appreciators keep the King's
memory alive by visiting Memphis, Tennessee. In Memphis, you can visit Elvis' home,
Graceland (including his grave) as well as Sun Studios where he first recorded his music,
among other landmarks and attractions relating to Elvis' life and legacy. There was also the

5
Elvis Is Alive Museum in Wright City, Missouri, which between 1990 and its closure in 2007
attracted thousands of visitors, according to curator Bill Beeny, a real estate salesman and Baptist
minister. Claiming to have DNA evidence the King was alive, he made no apology for the poor
quality of the replica Elvis that he displayed in a coffin: “It doesn’t look like Elvis, but neither
did the guy in the casket”. What seems harder to explain is exactly why people believe Elvis is
still alive and why they keep spotting him. None of which, of course, does anything to disprove
the theory that Elvis is alive.

6
Chapter II - Aliens helped build Stonehenge
The series of boulders that make up Stonehenge have long puzzled experts and provided material
ripe for conspiracy theorists. Most pertinent is the question: how were the stones - some
weighing 50 tons - transported and arranged to where they sit today? Without basic
transportation technology, such as wheels (which were invented more than five centuries after
Stonehenge is believed to have been built), there is no obvious answer to how the biggest stones
were moved.

Much of what scientists do know about the construction of Stonehenge is from educated guesses
and constantly evolving research, the newest of which suggests that in fact two of the largest
boulders that make up Stonehenge have always been “more or less” where they sit today.
Alternatively of course, scientists could shun the research and read Erich von Däniken's seminal
book Chariots of the Gods?, “which makes the argument that many ancient megastructures such
as Stonehenge, the Egyptian pyramids, and the Moai heads of Easter Island were built using
know-how passed down from God-like aliens to mankind”, says The Independent.
Though why the extraterrestrials would pass on the knowledge of how to build Stonehenge but
not the wheel is anyone’s guess... Reigning in the rural county of Wiltshire in England, the
Stonehenge is one of the most well-known and instantly recognisable tourist attractions in the
UK, and has even turned into a pop culture cult icon. Not much is known about the landmark,
but it’s believed to be constructed during the prehistoric era in 3000 BC. The famous ring of
standing stone pillars has been the subject of dozens of excavation by researchers hoping to
uncover the perennial riddle behind its mysterious origins. The enigma shrouding the Stonehenge
mainly revolves around two questions: Firstly, how were the stones transported and arranged to
where and what it is today? According to geologists, the nearest source of the spotted dolerite
bluestones – the rocks used to build Stonehenge – is Preseli Hills in Pembrokeshire, Wales, over
230 kilometres away! Without basic transport technology like wheels (which were invented more
than five centuries after Stonehenge was built), how the gigantic monument came to be continues
to elude even the most avid scientists and historians today. And thus queues the conspiracy
theory that Stonehenge was built by aliens, or at least aided by some form of exterrestrial
support. With each stone averaging to be 4-metres tall and 2-metres wide, weighing over 20,000
kg, transportation would have been a near-impossible feat. As such, there are countless myths
and folklore suggesting the involvement of aliens during the building of the monument. Some
theories even assert that these aliens bestowed upon the ancient civilisations their transcendent
god-like knowledge and skills. The second question involves the purpose of Stonehenge itself.
The site hardly seems like a mere decorative piece to spice up the green English landscape with
some aesthetically-placed rocks. With no written records, there is no clear answer to its intended
function. However, studies have discovered a mathematical relationship to the arrangement of
the stones. Seeing as there is no definitive answer to how Stonehenge was engineered by these
neolithic peoples, I wondered were they really solely responsible for it’s creation. Discerning
that anything is possible I took into account the possibility of Ancient Aliens, proponents such as

7
author Erich von Daniken among others developed a modern take on the Merlin hypothesis. This
modernized hypothesis was developed by advocates of the ancient alien theory, other known as
the ancient astronaut theory, considering that extraterrestrial beings with superior knowledge of
science and engineering arrived on Earth thousands of years ago, sharing their expertise with
early neolithic civilizations. Author Erich von Daniken, considered the primary proponent of the
ancient alien theory, suggested the creation of stonehenge in the neolithic period was a model of
our solar system, serving as the solar and lunar calendar. Bear in mind supporting evidence has
found upon observing the circularly positioned surrounding trench of Stonehenge, connecting at
a point, that then extends hundreds of meters away from the site, with an extending pathway
pointing directly upon the position the sun would lie during the summer solstice. In turn
representing a believed model of the neolithic Solar System, they believed consisted of 9 planets.
From this early representation of our Solar System, Daniken purposed that the stone circle served
as a landing pad for spaceships or as an observatory for extraterrestrial activity amongst the
skies. It was also believed that the excavation of the trenches directed outward pointed towards
ancient historic sites, another stretch of this belief advocates the idea that they served as
identifiers for extraterrestrial beings acknowledging that the planet is inhabited with advanced
life. Daniken further claimed that ancient art and iconography throughout the world depicted air
and space vehicles, non-human intelligent creatures, along with artifacts of advanced technology
that weren’t seen to fit amongst the neolithic period. The question then appears as to how
these anachronistically objects found amongst periods preceding the technology of the period.
Were ancient aliens the helping hand that guided civilizations to advance technologically and
intellectually, pushing the development of our known world slowly over thousands of years?
Modern scientific explanations cannot yet give an explanation as to how boulders weighing
nearly 4-tons were transported over such great distance to Stonehenge without adequate
technology. Therefore, until proven wrong the speculation around Stonehenge is to be consumed
with endless possibilities of it’s mystifying construction along with the role it played in the
neolithic period in which it arose.
Some calculations could help us imagine the possibility of human involvement in this
construction: 35 tonnes - the weight of the largest sarsen stones (the uprights of the Great
Trilithon).
20 tonnes - the average weight of the sarsen circle uprights.
3 tonnes - the weight of the largest bluestones.
40 tonnes - the estimated weight of the heel stone.
12 - the estimated minimum number of days it would have taken to drag a sarsen from the
Marlborough Downs.
200 - the estimated number of people it would take to drag a sarsen stone on a simple wooden
sled.

8
Chapter III - Area 51

In 1947 claims that an "alien spacecraft" had landed in Roswell, New Mexico, were dismissed by
the US military, which said the alien craft was merely a weather balloon.
Ufologists believe the spacecraft was taken into Area 51 – a division of Edwards Air Force Base
– and the US government has been researching alien technology and life forms on the site ever
since.
Video footage of an alleged "alien autopsy" has been shown to be fake, but Area 51 is known to
be a secretive and heavily guarded base. The reasons, however, may be more earthly than the
conspiracy theories suggest: the U-2 spy plane, and several other top-secret aircraft, were
developed and tested here.
The United States Air Force facility commonly known as Area 51 is a highly classified remote
detachment of Edwards Air Force Base, within the Nevada Test and Training Range. According
to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the correct names for the facility are Homey
Airport (ICAO: KXTA) and Groom Lake, though the name Area 51 was used in a CIA
document from the Vietnam War. The facility has also been referred to
as Dreamland and Paradise Ranch, among other nicknames. The special use airspace around the
field is referred to as Restricted Area 4808 North (R-4808N).
The base's current primary purpose is publicly unknown; however, based on historical evidence,
it most likely supports the development and testing of experimental aircraftand weapons systems
(black projects). The intense secrecy surrounding the base has made it the frequent subject
of conspiracy theories and a central component to unidentified flying object (UFO)
folklore. Although the base has never been declared a secret base, all research and occurrences in
Area 51 are Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI). On 25 June 2013,
following a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request filed in 2005, the CIA publicly
acknowledged the existence of the base for the first time, declassifying documents detailing the
history and purpose of Area 51.
Area 51 is located in the southern portion of Nevada in the western United States, 83 miles
(134 km) north-northwest of Las Vegas. Situated at its center, on the southern shore of Groom
Lake, is a large military airfield. The site was acquired by the United States Air Force in 1955,
primarily for the flight testing of the Lockheed U-2 aircraft. The area around Area 51, including
the small town of Rachel on the "Extraterrestrial Highway", is a popular tourist destination. Its
secretive nature and undoubted connection to classified aircraft research, together with reports of
unusual phenomena, have led Area 51 to become a focus of modern UFO and other conspiracy
theories. Some of the activities mentioned in such theories at Area 51 include:
The storage, examination, and reverse engineering of crashed alien spacecraft (including material
supposedly recovered at Roswell), the study of their occupants (living and dead; see grey alien),
and the manufacture of aircraft based on alien technology.
Meetings or joint undertakings with extraterrestrials.
The development of exotic energy weapons for the Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI) or other
weapons programs.
The development of means of weather control.
The development of time travel and teleportation technology.
The development of unusual and exotic propulsion systems related to the Aurora Program.
Activities related to a supposed shadowy one world government or the Majestic 12 organization.

9
Many of the hypotheses concern underground facilities at Groom or at Papoose Lake (also
known as "S-4 location"), 8.5 miles (13.7 km) south, and include claims of a transcontinental
underground railroad system, a disappearing airstrip (nicknamed the "Cheshire Airstrip",
after Lewis Carroll's Cheshire cat) which briefly appears when water is sprayed onto its
camouflaged asphalt, and engineering based on alien technology. Publicly available satellite
imagery, however, reveals clearly visible landing strips at Groom Dry Lake, but not at Papoose
Lake.
In the mid-1950s, civilian aircraft flew under 20,000 feet while military aircraft flew under
40,000 feet. Once the U-2 began flying at above 60,000 feet, an unexpected side effect was an
increasing number of UFO sighting reports. Sightings occurred most often during early evenings
hours, when airline pilots flying west saw the U-2's silver wings reflect the setting sun, giving
the aircraft a "fiery" appearance. Many sighting reports came to the Air Force's Project Blue
Book, which investigated UFO sightings, through air-traffic controllers and letters to the
government. The project checked U-2 and later OXCART flight records to eliminate the majority
of UFO reports it received during the late 1950s and 1960s, although it could not reveal to the
letter writers the truth behind what they saw. Similarly, veterans of experimental projects such as
OXCART and NERVA at Area 51 agree that their work (including 2,850 OXCART test flights
alone) inadvertently prompted many of the UFO sightings and other rumors:
The shape of OXCART was unprecedented, with its wide, disk-like fuselage designed to carry
vast quantities of fuel. Commercial pilots cruising over Nevada at dusk would look up and see
the bottom of OXCART whiz by at 2,000-plus mph. The aircraft's titanium body, moving as fast
as a bullet, would reflect the sun's rays in a way that could make anyone think, UFO.
They believe that the rumors helped maintain secrecy over Area 51's actual operations. While the
veterans deny the existence of a vast underground railroad system, many of Area 51's operations
did (and presumably still do) occur underground.
Several people have claimed knowledge of events supporting Area 51 conspiracy theories. These
have included Bob Lazar, who claimed in 1989 that he had worked at Area 51's "Sector Four (S-
4)", said to be located underground inside the Papoose Range near Papoose Lake. Lazar has
stated he was contracted to work with alien spacecraft that the U.S. government had in its
possession.

10
Chapter IV - Rulers of the world
There is no organization more rife with conspiracy theory than the Illuminati. The Illuminati are
said to begin a new world order. The Illuminati have control over everything and we cannot do a
thing without them knowing. This is what many believe at least. The Illuminati perhaps gained
the most acclaim and interest from Robert Anton Wilson and Robert Shea’s book the Illuminatus
Triology. The authors weave quite a spectacular tale of magic, occult, conspiracy, murder, sex,
and espionage. Surprisingly though is the amount of information in the book that is actually true.
Such as the fact that Adam Weishaupt founded the Bavarian Illuminati. Weishaupt’s intention
with the Illuminati was in fact to start a new world order. Wilson and Shea would go on to say
that Weishaupt looking so similar to Washington actually murdered George and took on his role
as George Washington or President. Look at a portrait of George Washington early in life and
then later in life and you will see that it is not the same person but Weishaupt. Is there any
evidence to this doubtful. However this never the less helped to perpetuate the myth of the
Illuminati. The Illuminati that Weishaupt many suspect has not carried on much past the 19th
century.

However the argument has been made that the Masonic lodges and Masons today are just one
part of the Illuminati. If one goes deep enough and high enough into the ranks of Masonry, one
may find themselves inducted into the Illuminati. In fact the French Revolution is to be blamed
upon the secret running’ of the Illuminati, which is quite curious because this can almost
seemingly coincide with Comte de St. Germaine’s involvement of the French Revolution. More
curious enough if one looks at a portrait of Germaine beside that of Weishaupt; there is a
remarkable similarity. Give the portrait of Weishaupt the traditional wig and you may very well
have a match up.

If this theory has any kernel of truth to it; then it is quite possible that theories of the Illuminati’s
involvement with the Rosicrucians are more than true. As Comte de St. Germaine was the
original International Man of Mystery . It is no wonder then if Germaine or Weishaupt had
started an underground movement such as the Illuminati, then he himself would need to be
shrouded in just as much mystery. Is the Illuminati alive and well? Only theories exist to debate
it. However it can be said that Fraternities with secrets will always delight and entertain our
minds. After all which is worse? Knowing that the world may be run by a giant secret
underground world government? Or would it be worse to know that there are no secret
organizations and that all the world leaders have just been greedy, stupid, or ignorant pigs? It
seems to me to be much more painful admitting that just maybe we have elected and placed
world leaders that are not quite up to status quo for the job.
Modern day democracy, like the way we know it, is not more than 250 years old. The world,
as we know it, has always been ruled by the ones with absolute power, those who knew how
to control wealth and resources. By those who knew how to control their people, by hook or
by crook. The New World Order aims to work on a similar philosophy of absolute power
and control, but on a global scale. The plan is to secretly have a single body governing the
planet with the elite sitting right on top of the food chain, leaving the rest of the world to
fight it out for that 1% of the global economy. Scarier is the fact that they apparently also
want to keep control of the global population. They want the global population to be just

11
under a billion, leaving the Earth's resources for their own exclusive use. And to keep the
population in check, they are willing to go to any extent, even plan scientifically engineered
global population control methods like viruses, vaccines and genetically modified food. It is
also said that these families even hold the cure for terminal diseases like cancer and AIDS,
but don't want to release it to the public because then there'll be a cure. And a cure is not
good for the pharma business. True or not, the whole concept is a bit unsettling. Just
imagine being played around like puppets. What do you feel about the concept of having
one government?

12
Conclusions
In the conclusion, We hear conspiracy theories at the breakfast table, at work and in the media.
People go around saying ‘I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but …’ trying to persuade you that,
say, the oil companies are conspiring to keep cheap, renewable energy sources from entering
the marketplace, or health professionals discovered the cure for cancer in the 1960s but have
kept it a secret from the public. Sociologists and psychologists study why these beliefs are so
popular, and also why some of them are only popular in certain communities. Historians look
at these beliefs in their historical context, while political theorists ask whether belief in
conspiracy theories adversely affects the political structures in our societies.

“I think one of the reasons that we like conspiracy theories is I think that
we like to feel like there is a group of people who are so smart and
powerful that they can pull the wool over an entire country or in fact
even an entire world's eyes. That certainly makes us feel like somehow
we're protected, even if it's not in our best interest.”
