1. Reviewer's Responsibilities.
.1 Choosing the Actors. The reviewer should choose the actors based on the audition

materials provided by the Church, considering: Pronunciation and accent. The actors speak
clearly and enunciate well; possess a neutral accent. The actor's voice should match the age,
characteristics, looks and performance of the corresponding role.
1.2 Reviewing the Dubbing. According to the final script provided by Church, the
reviewer should identify any mistakes in the recording, which includes, but is not limited to,
missing words, added words, mistakes in pronunciation, ambiguities and mumbled words; or
issues such as mistaken emotions or not enough, too much or contradictory emotions; or
issues such as sentences sounding unnatural or ambiguous because of mistakes such as
pauses in their delivery. The reviewer should mark all mistakes in English and fill them in
Work sheet and also offer detailed explanations of the relevant mistakes and suggestions for
corrections. If the suggestions are not clear and aren’t understood by Church, the reviewer
should provide the suggestions again according to Church’s requirements. Once the
suggestions for corrections are approved by the Church, if necessary, assistance may be
provided to the Church to write re-recording suggestions in the target language.
Requirements for reviewing the emotion and pace of sections with God's words:
God's words should be read in a formal, earnest, slow, steady, dignified, resonant and natural
manner, should not be spoken too rigidly. The talents should not speak too softly or weakly,
too quickly or slowly, or in a manner where the pace of the talents’ delivery changes
suddenly from fast to slow or vice versa. Any special tone of voice (such as a spiteful or
hateful tone) should not be used.
3.1 Added words, missing words, incorrect words, and mistakes in meaning or
grammar.
(a) The reviewer should ensure that the words in the audio are completely identical
to the words of God and Bible verses that are marked in blue in the dubbing manuscript.
He/she should also guarantee that there are no extra words, missing words, incorrect words,
words pronounced incorrectly and other issues. The reviewer should write down the above
problems and give specific suggestions for corrections to be made.
(b) Check to see whether or not the modified sentences in the audio have the
correct meaning and are loyal to the source text. Any substantive issues, such as mistakes or
meanings that differ from the source text. Areas where the modified words or sentences are
erroneous or contradictory, or have any negative connotations, or if they would be easy for
people to interpret several possible meanings.
4. Other Parts.
Check whether there are problems of Reverb, Room tone, Lip-sync, Acoustical
Phase, Headphone Bleeding, etc., and provide suggestions.
