Product Description Chemsol Bitumen-PB is a black plasticised bitumen. On
heating it provides a tough, seamless, flexible, waterproof
membrane for concrete and many other substrates.

Uses Chemsol Bitumen -PB is used for:
-- Waterproofing of basements and retaining walls
-- Bathroom floors as a sandwich layer below screeds/tiles.
-- Vapour barrier of cladded walls.
-- Damp proof coating for roofs
-- Maintenance of bitumen-coated roof screeds.
-- Sewerage pipes & tanks.
-- Bridge decks & pavements

stones, polythene sheets etc.

Application Details
_______________________________________________________________________________
Substrate Preparation All surfaces must be sound, even, free from dust, loose particles
etc. May be applied to damp but not waterlogged surfaces.
Porous concrete surfaces should be primed first by Chemsol
Emulsion BA.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Application The product should be heated before applying evenly using a
stiff brush. A two-coat application is recommended to avoid
possible gaps in the film .Each coat must be allowed to dry
before applying the next one.

Curing Touch dry approximately 1hour@ 35°C
Over coating approximately 4 hour @ 35°C
Full cure approximately 3 days

Remarks --
Do not apply Chemsol Bitumen -PB to outside areas in
wet weather.
-- Protect freshly applied product from rain until it is fully
cured.
