Product Description Chemseal – 105 N is a cement based, fiber-reinforced, polymer
modified, 2-component, multi-purpose Elastomeric
waterproofing compound. Chemseal - 105 N combines a
crystallization action and pore blocking effect with excellent
waterproofing ability of special polymers, additives and properly
graded aggregates.

Uses Chemseal – 105 N is used as an economical and easy to use
waterproofing slurry both for external and internal applications
such as:
-- Water and sewage works, septic tanks and manholes.
-- Basements and lift pits.
-- Retaining walls and bridge structures.
-- Sea walls and irrigation channels.

Application Details

Substrate Preparation Surfaces must be clean, sound, free from grease, oil and loosely
adhering particles. Blowholes and irregularities should be filled
with suitable repair products. Saturate absorbent concrete
surfaces thoroughly with water to achieve a surface
saturated dry condition.

Mixing Stir component A (liquid) thoroughly before pouring into a clean
mixing container. Add component B (powder) slowly while
mixing continuously. Use low speed electric mixers (max.500
rpm) for 3 minutes avoiding entrapment of air. By adding the
powder in portions, the desired application consistency can be
obtained.

Application Details

Application While the substrate is still in a saturated surface dry condition,
apply the first coat by and leave to harden. Apply the second
coat as soon as possible, after hardening of the first coat, to
ensure proper adhesion between layers. Apply with a hard bristle
brush or broom. Apply the second coat into the notches and
smoothen the surface. For floor applications, to avoid risk of
damage to the first coat, it is recommended to apply the second
coat after 24 hours. In such cases, the first coat should be slightly
re-wetted. After application of the second coat, finish Chemseal-
105 N by rubbing down with a soft dry sponge. In case of a third
coat, scratch the surface of the second coat with the edge of the
trowel to provide a mechanical key.

Curing Keep Chemseal – 105 N moist for 24 hours and apply a mist
spray for another 24 hours to ensure its optimal development of
waterproofing capability.

Cleaning Application and mixing tools should be cleaned with water while
material is still fresh. Hardened material can only be removed
mechanically.

Safety
_______________________________________________________________________________
Precautions 1.
Accidental splashes to the skin must be washed off with
water and soap.
2. Accidental splashes to the eyes must be rinsed with clean
water. Seek medical attention without delay.
3. Skin barrier cream, safety goggles and rubber gloves are
recommended.
