Chemrite FF

Chemrite FF
High Range Water-Reducing, Accelerating Concrete Admixture
_______________________________________________________________________________
Product Description Chemrite- FF is a liquid superplasticizer for production of free
flowing concrete, acting as a substantial water-reducing agent for
promoting high early and ultimate strengths.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Uses Chemrite-FF is used as a super plasticizer in the production of
free flowing concrete, such as
-- R.C. slabs, raft, footings.
-- Walls, columns and piers
-- Pre-cast and prestressed concrete elements
-- Bridges decks
-- Concrete where formwork must be removed quickly or
early loading can be applied
_______________________________________________________________________________
Advantages Chemrite-FF exhibits the following properties:
-- Workability enhanced at reduced water/cement ratio.
-- Increased placeability in slender components with densely
packed reinforcement.
-- Normal set without retardation.
-- Significantly reduces the risk of segregation & bleeding

Application Detail
_______________________________________________________________________________
Dosage 1.0 – 2.5 % by weight of cement. Trial mixes are recommended
to establish exact dosage rates
_______________________________________________________________________________
Dispensing Chemrite-FF can be added to the mixing water prior to its
addition to the concrete mixer.
Chemrite-FF can also be added to the concrete immediately
prior to discharge and further mixing has taken place for at least
three more minutes.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Concrete Placing The standard rules of good concreting practice (production as
well as placing) must be observed when using Chemrite-FF
concrete
_______________________________________________________________________________
Curing Fresh concrete must be cured properly, especially at high
temperatures in order to prevent plastic and drying shrinkage.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Compatibility Chemrite-FF is compatible with silica fume and sulphate
resistant cement. Consult our Technical Services Department for
further guidance.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Remarks When accidental overdosing occurs, concrete set is adversely
affected. During this period the concrete must be kept moist in
order to prevent premature drying out.
