Description Chemplast – AR 340 is a concrete plasticizer - retarder suitable
for dry, hot climatic conditions. It complies with ASTM C 494
type A & D.

Application
_______________________________________________________________________________
Dosage 0.3 – 0.8% by weight of cement. It is advisable to carry out trial
mixes to establish the exact dosage rate required.

Chemplast – AR 340 is compatible with slag cement, sulphate

resistant cement and silica fume.

Dispensing Chemplast – AR 340 is added to the gauging water prior to its
addition to the dry mix.

Important When accidental overdosing occurs the set retarding effect
increases. During this period concrete must be kept moist in
order to prevent premature drying out.

Safety Precautions 1.Accidental splashes to the skin must be washed off with
water and soap.
2. Accidental splashes to the eyes must be rinsed with clean
water. Seek medical attention without delay.
