1 Description
A program is required to upload the COA details from Excel to VIM COA tables in SAP

2 Justification/Background/Objectives

A program is required to upload the COA details from Excel to VIM COA tables, as there are huge
number of records to be loaded and the Given VIM Transaction: /OPT/VIM_7CX1 allows us to insert
one record at a time.

3 Requirement Details:
 A custom Program needs to be deveopled to update the details in the gven Excel file format
into the VIM COA tables.
 Here below is the tcode to maintain the COA details for NPO Invoice WF approval

 Here is the 1st Tab in this maintainable table

 Here the system allows us to insert the records. And when I enter manually, I can only enter
from Last and Fist name and the rest of the details to the right.

 The manager has to be created as a user as well before I can go add him as manager to some
other user.

 And below is the 2nd Tab where we need to update the Amount Limits for each user. ( this
can be done only after the user has been created in User Details Tab).

 Now the request is to create a new program which gives us the ability to update/upload the
Tables directly in MASS, rather than a user going in and updating the records individually
through the maintenance tcode.

A executable upload program is created with selection screen having a field to select the file
from a defined location ( Desktop).

And with 2 check boxes for selecting the specific table

 Table for User Details: /ORS/USERMAP

 Table for COA Details: /OPT/BL_APPCOA

And with 2 Radio Buttons

o Test Run - ( default) and a ALV layout as Output to the User.
o Prod Run - to update and Add the new records to the Tables.

This section includes the plan and steps to test the development.

9.1 Test Plan

Testing should be conducted in the DE2-500, TE2 and QE2 systems. With the Data Provided by Magdy
in Excel format.
