RESUMO
ABSTRACT
The teaching-learning process has undergone numerous changes over time. New
approaches emerged, new methodologies and education began to be observed in
several aspects, among them the ludic. In this context, playfulness emerges as an
important tool for the teaching-learning process. The benefits of the use of
playfulness in schools are numerous and this type of approach enables an
integration of cognitive, physical, social and affective aspects, and the development
of new learning. A playfulness allows students to explore the world around them,
interact with other children and adults, share experiences and allow them to create
their creativity and imagination. Classroom playfulness does not consist only of the
development of games and games, for this, the educator needs to transform his
actions, plan, set goals and methods, and take a playful stance during ministries. The
present study, through a bibliographical review, aims to promote an understanding of
the meaning and relevance of playfulness in early childhood education, highlighting
the benefits for the development of a children's experience.
